I contacted my friend just to make sure she'd be able to do the sculpture, to let her know what the background was, and what the style thoughts were. Also to ask her for ideas. She wrote back with this:
"I have a particular sculpture that came to mind, which is this one http://www.etsy.com/listing/58746159/unity-family-of-five-made-to-order?ga_search_query=unity&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5258817 and you can reference the final pics in the listing to see it made with triplets. instead of the middle baby touching mom's face, he can be holding stars and daddy can be holding the girls as shown and they can hold stars as well. i also have a silver little crescent moon the same size as the stars and one could hold the moon, and one can hold a fluffy piece of mohair that looks like a cloud and it can have a 'Tokens from Heaven' theme."
Thoughts?

I love it. I love the idea of three different tokens for each of the babies - I think that would sort of give each angel baby their own personality. Your friend is so thoughtful.

And after giving it some more thought, I think just one neutral colour would be really nice. I like how it would express unity of the family.

I hope the babies are up in heaven playing with their puppy Zeus.

That one was my favorite too, and I like her ideas for them as well. I am in to contribute to both GC and sculpture as well.

I like the layout of the one she suggested, but I personally prefer the idea of them hugging/holding the parents rather than bringing "tokens from Heaven." That's just my two cents though - it will be lovely either way and I'm in regardless.
