SILs really wanted DH to talk about a waitress
So, my SILs have always hated me for "stealing" their brother. DH is not close with them due to the fact that they are a MESS. Still, things like this annoy me, as they happen frequently. We were at a restaurant and SILs start talking about a waitress at ANOTHER restaurant who they say has naked pics online. DH and I stayed out of the conversation, but SILs kept promting him to say something about her. DH said he didn't even know who the waitress was, and I said I had never seen her either. SIL said "oh come on, you know, the one with huge fake t*ts!" DH ignored her. Other SIL looks across the table a give a "look" to her sister like , "He won't say anything bc she's (me) here."
Ugh, it's like stop hating me and ohhh..sorry my DH isn't going to join a conversation about naked pictures of some waitress. This was also at ay MIL birthday dinner. They know how to keep it classy.

I had the same problem only with birthday cards of naked men my boyfriend's family would get, I told his brother to get out of the closet, and they haven't sent a card like that in two years.

So you're making up scenerios that make it appear like they hate you because of a perceived "look?" You couldn't have thought of something else to talk about rather than just sit there and stew about something that may or may not be true?
They do this because they can. You're out to eat, it's for MIL, so therefore they think you've got no choice. Show them that you all DO have a choice.

Have your SILs ever said they don't like you? I think you are fueling whatever they are trying to start, if they are actually trying to start something. Next time they try to make your DH look at naked pictures, look at the pictures, you should make a comment about how cute the girl is.

Have you heard "You teach people how to treat you"? It's so true, and so far you and your DH have been teaching your SILs they can get away with being rude and obnoxious.
There has to be another reason they don't like you besides that you married their brother. And ideas?

To further explain, DH and I were on the end of a long table of about 12 people-we should have started talking over SILs! I agree DH should have said something.
We have talked before about "getting up and leaving" when they are rude.
I a word, no. And DH never hangs out with SILs so how would they think he woudl talk about a waitress/her nude pics if I wasn't there? This is just an example of mannnnny things they constantly say/do.
Am I the only one getting a "Mom, make her stop LOOKING at meeee!!!!!" from-the-backseat kind of vibe?

That was my thought as well. Sounds like they're just being gossipy. If a SIL of mine did this, I would thing they were just trying to talk bad about the waitress, not trying to piss me off.
