Okay, I'm backing out of the thread now so that I actually do some work today, but I just had to say how absolutely gorgeous your cake topper is!  Love it to bits.

I finally made a married bio with some wedding pics - our favors were Scrabble tiles made into magnets, grouped into 'words of love.'  I totally loved making those.

  • Hi all!   I'm super late to this party, but wanted to post anyway!

I'm Ali and my DH is Nolan.  We were married on 9/18. We're both 31, turning 32 next year.  We each have two children, so four all together (only occasionaly do we have them all at the same time, at least not lately).  We aren't having any more kids.

I'm another huge reader, I rarely watch tv.  I'm into running, but have been sidelined because of a stress fracture in my heel (boo).  I'm slowly getting back into it.  I hate coffee, but love hot cocoa.

    Glad to see everyone again!

  • Also tardy to the party Indifferent

I'm Lynsey, husband is James. I'm 32, he's 27. We got married on his 27th birthday this year (9/13) - which he said it was his best birthday. ever. I enjoy running, snowboarding (can't wait to hit Tahoe this season), cooking, reading, traveling, scrapbooking, and spending time with J.

We don't have any kids, just two cats named Nacho & Logan. We want kids but J has to get himself checked out and cut down or quit completely on smoking. I work as a sales/administrative assistant for an airport advertising company and J works as a roofing laborer (hoping to move up to roofer in a year or two). We are currently saving for a home of our own but will stay in our cheap rent apartment until then.

  • Your favors are awesome!! How did you do it? I might steal your idea for Christmas presents, they're super cute!!

Sam's whole family are Scrabble heads and would totally eat them up!

  • It was fun reading everyone's replies!  I was a September 18 bride, and got married on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Hubby and I are both 24.  We just had the busiest year of our lives buying our first house in May and planning the wedding, but it was worth it.  We are now enjoying some down time and looking forward to the holidays!  We live in Mass for now (where my family is from) but would someday love to move to Connecticut.  My family is here, his family is from NY and we'd like to be eqidistant lol

We met our Sophmore year in college when we were both 19 and have been together ever since.  I love the fact he is from NYC so we have a place to stay whenever we want to go back and visit the City!  When we both graduated we looked at apartments / jobs in NYC before settling in Boston.  We'll both always be city people no matter what.

I have a wicked baby bug right now but I know FI and I are young and I defintely want to wait a couple more years.  It's going to be tough but we'll be glad we gave ourselves this time together later on.
