Noisy - that's amazing. I would've started getting off at the exits and getting back on. Would've saved some time. We had a friend who left work around 5:30 pm and didn't make it to her house until 2:30 am and she had to walk the last tenth of a mile. She is only about 15 mi from her work. It was much better yesterday and today because there are a lot less people deciding to go out on the roads. I was one of three people at work yesterday.

I am not thankful for 6am flights.
I am not thankful that this is the last day my husband will spend in San Francisco until January 21st.

I'm sorry Mod. That sucks. And Lorne is not thankful that he won't get to hang out with Mr. Mod in December.

I am not thankful that I actually have to accomplish things this afternoon and most of the staff has already left for the week.
I am not thankful for crippling gas pain. I can hear the air moving around in my abdomen for hours.
Does it help that my toenails are not ACTUALLY long enough to climb mountains with? They just look kind of bloody.

the big one is that we decided to not have a big thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, because we were unable to travel and it would just be the two and a half of us. instead we are waiting for next weekend when my MIL is here for a festive dinner party of 3 and a half. grr. molto depresssisssimo.
i do need to go to the grocery store tonight though, because we have no food in the damn house and we need to eat through a four day holiday weekend. it is going to be a zoo at the grocery store!!
Friday and saturday are going to be a *** for me because they are respectively my mom's birthday and the day she died. god damnit.
i have an inside the nose zit, and i think the cold i've been nursing for a week or so is recharging itself.
so many things to be not thankful for!!
11/11/11 = 5 years. Woah!

I am not thankful that Groomz didn't invite me to Thanksgiving at his place sooner. I would gladly ditch my relatives for him any day. Plus, I heard on the Halloween episode of Modern Family that the gays really know how to do Thanksgiving (you're the fat one, Groomz!).
I am not thankful that I have to work Friday, so my one day off is going to be spent cooking a turkey and all the sides. If I had gotten more warning, I could have at least prepared myself instead of scrambling at the last minute. I'm hoping Mr. Spiderman is going to run to the grocery store for me tonight because, in addition to preparing to cook the meal tomorrow, I'm also dogsitting for a friend. Wheeee!

We were SUPPOSED to go there for "just cake" for B's b-day. He told her we were going to Nyack for brunch so I don't know why she even thought we'd be eating. Normally, after going to this particular place (Strawberry Place) we're in a food coma for hours.
Anyway- I never eat her food- I always bring my own. People who don't KNOW what the food situation is over there think I'm weird, picky, crazy, rude, etc. for bringing my own food. My MIL does not care. She's an awful cook and she is aware of this (remember- we went on that tv show about her awful cooking). Except that she thinks she's fine with Italian dishes (she's not Italian). We got there and were hijacked with food. It was meatball/sausage/penne and I ate it because it looked fine and it actually TASTED fine.
I had a complete sh*t attack AT THEIR HOUSE within 20 min of eating. Twice. Had been on the bowl ALL DAY monday and that is where I was typing from pretty much any time I was on the nest monday. It lasted till LAST NIGHT (tues).
I WILL BE BRINGING MY OWN FOOD FROM NOW TILL FOREVER. Thank you very much. I've wasted PRECIOUS hours for 2.5 days, it was my poor H's b-day, he had the sh*ts too, and I wasn't even able to sit and enjoy my tv shows sun/mon. The only good part is I must have lost weight.
