A small question?
DH recently admitted that, if he were being completely selfish, he enjoyed a good bj more than having sex.
I'm just wondering if other men are like that, too. I'm not worried, of course, I'm sort of flattered that he likes them so much. Just curious. :-)

I'm not sure I would say that they (men) would always prefer a BJ to sex, I think that depends on how much the individual guy gets off on the intimacy. Now, would a guy rather sit back and get head with very little to no work involved, yes. But, I think it would get old after a while. My DH loves head, absolutely loves it. I can also tell a difference in how he climaxes when hes getting head vs when we're having sex. And as I'm pregnant and sometimes would prefer to give him head through the course of a week when I'm not feeling like having sex, I know by about round 4 hes ready for sex. Its like anything else, you don't want the same flavor all the time. Now, deprive DH of both for about a week and ask him his choice, and it would probably be a BJ. It doesn't offend me after all as BJ's for most men, in many relationships, are considered a treat. I can't tell you how many of his friends make the comment that their wives either never give head, or maybe only once in a great blue moon. His best friend kind of let it slip at a christmas party last year that he hadn't received a BJ since before their daughter was born, and that was 6 years ago. And whereas I thought his wife would be mordified, I believe her response was somthing like "damn right its been 6 years, and it will probably be another six years." I certainly know mine likes to brag to his boys that he gets them almost any time he wants. And I'm more than happy to oblige. He always goes above and beyond to satisfy my needs, and it helps that I like giving. I feel bad for the guys out there who's signifigant others are adament against them, or believe they some how degrade woman kind. I can certainly see how an individual can degrade someone through their reasoning behind why they want a BJ, but I think in most cases, as it applies to good guys, its just a matter of the fact they enjoy them. Just my two cents.
Sadly I've never met many women who either wanted to do it or knew how! If it comes down to it being done badly and grudgingly then, personally, I prefer that we forget the idea......
....the curious thing about oral sex for us men is that it's not so much about WHAT she does as about HOW she does it that causes the 'joy'....or not!
