I ordered a stove top coffee maker and it's "Out for Delivery" right now! I'm so excited!
Re: TGIF!
I just had to Google "stove top coffee maker" because I didn't know there was such a thing. Neat! What's the benefit over more traditional coffee makers?
This weekend we'll be decorating the house for Christmas. I'm looking forward to it.
I needed Friday, too. There is so much I need to get done!
I will definitely let you know. My boss has one and raves about how good the coffee is. I figured for $20 I would give it a try.
Good question. I have no idea what the benefit is. I'll use it tomorow morning and let you know!
Like a Bialetti?
Our friends in Italy say it's the "only" way to make decent coffee. I hope it works well for you!

Based on a google image search, yes it's similar (I've never used one that looks like that). Here is what I bought:

Mmmm, coffee. I'm sipping some right now. :-)
So, one of my BFF's turns 30 the day after Xmas. At first she wanted to go to Vegas, then decided it was too expensive so was trying to figure out something in Michigan but was stressed out trying to figure things out. I offered to take the reins and surprise her with a fun day and have been working with some other friends and her family to plan stuff. The only frustrating thing in planning is that almost everything is closed the day after Xmas which is also a Sunday. :-( I think we've got some good plans in place, but it's still hard even finding a restaurant open to go for dinner downtown!
Day after Christmas/Sunday is not an easy combo to work with. Hope it all goes well - that was super nice of you to take over!
I'm making it easy for my friends/H for my 30th - leaving the country
Fun! My rug is also "Out for Delivery" right now. I can't wait to get the livingroom put together.
The couch was delivered earlier this week...it's starting to fill up!
Yay for L coming home.
We went tree "hunting" last Saturday. It's the first time we've ever put up a tree and we were pretty excited. It was fun.
Fridays are usually our slowest day. It's going to be tough
Good luck finding some good options! Sounds like quite the challenge, but I'm sure you'll plan an awesome day for her.
I'm not feeling very motivated at work today, so I'll help!
Ugh. I wish I could slack today, but I have a few deadlines to meet. Hopefully I can get my stuff done by noon.
That's adorable!

Our family "rule" since we got married is to decorate no earlier than the 1st Saturday in December. I'm bringing up all the boxes and stuff today when he's at work.

We have always done the 2nd weekend of December, but I feel so festive right now and want a tree to help reflect my Christmas spirit. I already have a cute poinsettia and have been burning winter candles. I guess I can wait one more week.
That seems very limiting.
Why is that, I wonder?

I'm with Nick. I don't like to decorate for holidays. I think its because my Mom is hyper decorating and always has been. I really like to wait until the 15th and then Jan. 2 it all come down.
We use a plain red twin-sized sheet. It drapes very nicely.
My sister has the fitted one (we split a set on sale for cheap) and does the same.

That is a great idea.
Jealous! I want some out for delivery for me.
