Re: TGIF!
Me neither.
I don't like when DH puts the cheese in his bowl before the chili, thereby melting the cheese to the dish. Then when it gets to the kitchen sink, it's all crustified on there and a beast to wash, gunking up my dish brush.
I did, however, learn that washing it first in cold water kind of hardens the nasty melted cheese so it comes off better. Hot water just re-melted it. Gag.

Blasphemy! ;-) I fall into the camp of cheese makes almost everything taste better.
In other news, it took me 4 attempts to spell "vacuumed" correctly in an email.
Correction - cheese makes absolutely EVERYTHING taste better!
It makes me sad to read about so many people not decorating until late in the season. If you're going to spend money on decorations and time to put it all up, why wouldn't you want to have it up to enjoy for as long as you can?
(Spoken by the person who cuts down her Christmas tree the weekend of Thanksgiving and keeps it up through the end of January.)
I never understand why people would wait until right before Christmas to decorate. It takes us way too long to decorate to only have it up for a few days.
I had one friend who left her Christmas tree up for a long time. It became the Valentine's Day Tree and St. Patty's Day tree. We forced her to take it down before it became the spring break tree.
I got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago.
I finally got around to paying it today (late.)
H asked me to let him know how much it was. I told him $115.
Technically, the ticket was $115. I didn't mention the $25 late fee or the $10 convenience fee for paying online. I'm such a liar.
Nice!
Go directly to Jail, Do not collect $200.
Haha.
Yeah, I know a lot of people who feel that way. I'm not a big cheese fan though. I like a small amount of cheese on certain things, but definitely not a lot of cheese on everything. Excess amounts of melted cheese makes me want to gag.
Would you guys still be my friend if I told you that I went through a phase where I picked all of the cheese off of my pizza and even occassionally ordered pizza without cheese?
My parents don't decorate until a week or two before Christmas. When I was growing up they used to tell me it was because we got a live tree and if we got it too early it would be shedding all of it's needles by Christmas. I have since learned (from you, Chymes!) that's not necessarily true.
Still, when I first met my husband's family, I thought they were weird for decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend. I'd never heard of anyone doing that before. I still think they're weird, but no longer for that particular reason.
Heel grippers seem to be working great! No more slipping out of the shoes. Super comfortable.
Wop - Yay for a Bingo win and glad your heel grippers are working.
Kasa - I will not unfriend you for your anti-cheese pizza phase. I actually do not like loads of chee on my pizza - I prefer a light sprinkling so I can taste the other delicious bits of food on the slice.
I came downstairs and the brudders were snuggled on the loveseat together. Normally we have a house rule of no dogs on furniture unless invited, but I didn't have the heart to kick them off.
I tend to lie about these kinds of things.
I started counseling a few weeks ago. The person I talk to doesn't take insurance, but I don't have insurance for 3 months, so it's ok.
When I mentioned ot my mom I was going, she asked how much (she doesn't see the need). I told her $50/hr - it's almost twice that.
*melt* Pictures?
We normally have a house rule that if it's adorable, than it's allowed. As a result, my cats get away with way too much adorable misbehavior.
I took the girls on a walk yesterday after dinner to look at the Christmas lights. I put them in the sled and we went around the block. It would have been much easier if there was more snow on the ground. At one point in time, I was dragging it across cement and then all of sudden it was sliding easy. I turned around quickly to make sure they were both on the sled and that I didn't lose one of the girls. ha ha. They were safe. For a minute I was worried that Allison might have chucked Amelia off the sled.
Actually, it would probably have been Amelia pushing Allison off.
I dont have any coupons errr
LOL!
Ohh those prickly needles. LOL
On another note, I just made my xmas list for M. Wohoo I wrote stuff down that I didn't think I wanted lol
Hilarious! I love it.
Ha! Your girls sounds like lots of fun.
