  • Anybody happen to know if the Library charges the full amount for a lost item?

For a minute I was worried that Allison might have chucked Amelia off the sled.

Actually, it would probably have been Amelia pushing Allison off.

Ha!  Your girls sounds like lots of fun.

I love this stage, because everything is exciting and such a big deal. Allsion get SOOO excited when she sees Christmas lights outside, even if it is one little strand on a bush.

I love making things special for them and doing new activites with them.

Yeah they do. You gotta call and ask them. I have books that I didnt return last year and I gotta return them along with the late fee and a collection fee. LOL

Depends on the item and library. I lost a book (years ago) and the fee it cost to reimburse them was less than the book itself; I remember joking to my mom that I should just check out books for free and pay the "replacement" fee to add to my personal collection because it was a better deal.

Ha...ha... she was not amused. ;)

It's a CD for Grand Rapids Public Library. For the life of me I don't know what happened to the bloody thing. I though I had set it on top of my return stack and now its MIA.

  • And the afternoon boredom hits...

    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Speaking of afternoon boredom, I'm making Pasta Fagioli with Loaded Garlic Bread tonight. New recipes I've never made before.

    Yum!

  • I'm out of here.  Have a good weekend, everyone!

What is the garlic bread loaded with?

We're hopefully having a chicken-and-wild-rice dish that a friend made (and it was fantastic from her), but my version isn't absorbing the water in the time it said in the recipe. We've been smelling CrockPotty (LOL) goodness for hours now, and it still looks like soup! But it's not supposed to...

So I think we're going to switch that sucker to LOW and call it an eating-out night. Bah. Now we're part of the masses who think going out to eat on a Friday night at 6:30 is a good plan. :(:(:(

  • It's loaded with garlic, mozzarella cheese and bacon. I found the recipe in family circle. Best of luck on dinner out tonight.

I'm not a big cheese fan though.  I like a small amount of cheese on certain things, but definitely not a lot of cheese on everything.  Excess amounts of melted cheese makes me want to gag.

Would you guys still be my friend if I told you that I went through a phase where I picked all of the cheese off of my pizza and even occassionally ordered pizza without cheese?

Oh man. I wish I had known you during that phase. I would have happily put your discarded cheese on my slices without a second thought! I would have even given you my pizza sauce as a trade. I hate pizza sauce. I always scrape off as much of it as I can when I eat pizza.

    Holy smokes! Loaded indeed. :)

We had some pretzels and wine, and waited for the chicken-and-rice to finish cooking. It ended up being pretty good after all, and DS got a little downtime between daycare and dinner. Whew.
