  • TTC: How long were you with your partner before deciding to TTC? Together - 6 years; Married - 6 months

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)? Nausea and Tiredness (actually thought I had a virus, lol) Bloating started around week 9 or so.

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any? Not high risk in the 2nd tri, but during my third tri I had to have weekly ultrasounds and twice weekly stress tests...due to polyhydramnia and a large EFW.

3rd trimester: Have you taken or do you plan to take an infant massage class? I didn't, but I read some articles about it and wish I had.

L&D: If you?re already a mom, where were your other children while you were in labor? How did they react to you being in labor? N/A

First days: How long did post-partum bleeding last for you? About 6 weeks, although the worst of it was over by week 3.

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)? My early symptoms were sore breasts and "pin needle" cramps.  I noticed the bloating around 6-8 weeks.

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any?  N/A

3rd trimester: Have you taken or do you plan to take an infant massage class?  I did not, but DS has physical therapy for torticollis and they implement massage into his treatment.  He loves it!

L&D: If you?re already a mom, where were your other children while you were in labor? How did they react to you being in labor?  N/A

First days: How long did post-partum bleeding last for you?  Three weeks.

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)?  Nausea and fatigue, breast tenderness, and bloating by about 7 weeks.

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any? Not high-risk, but I found out today that I failed my one-hour glucose test and I'm slightly anemic.  I'm more annoyed than anything because I know that my diet could be a bit better.

We were together for 8 years and married for 2 when we started TTC, but knew we would try at that time (after law school and the bar) a year earlier

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)?

I had some implantation spotting an an implantation dip, I believe. But I didn't read too much into those signs. After the BFP, I felt fine until week 7 when the loss of appetite started. I don't remember too much bloat.

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any? N/A

3rd trimester: Have you taken or do you plan to take an infant massage class?

    Nope

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)? I was completely 100% exhausted for about 2 days and that was my first sign.  After our BFP, I noticed the bloating around 5 or 6 weeks and then the nausea and loss of appetite around 7 or 8 weeks.  That lasted until I hit 12 weeks to the day then it was gone.

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any?  N/A

Updates: As of Monday, baby is breech and the dr. went ahead and scheduled a c-section for the 18th, which is a day that she is on call.  Obviously we still have time and we will be discussing a version with the dr. when we go back on Monday again.  The rush is on to get the house in shape this weekend!

  • TTC: How long were you with your partner before deciding to TTC? Married for 2.5 years but together for over 10 years.

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)? I noticed bloating during week 4 and it never really went away. Bloating is my main symptom during AF, so I guess I was bound to have major bloat while pregnant. The first symptom I had that was completely different from AF symptoms was very sore booobs. That is when I decided I better POS.

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any? Luckily, I am not high risk.

Updates: baby and i are growing fine.  we have been back from the USA for 3 weeks now.  we just had our offer accepted on a house here.  have my glucose test next week.  we are having gorgeous summer weather here.  all is great with us.

  • TTC: How long were you with your partner before deciding to TTC?  Together for almost 5, married for a year and a half.

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)? My breasts were really sore, that's not a normal PMS symptom for me. Bloating started around 8 weeks. It got to the point of not being able to wear most of my pants around 10/11 I think...

2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any? So far, so good. Still waiting for the results of H's cystic fibrosis blood work tho, so maybe that would change it?

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)?  At the time, the first symptom I had was the BFP. Looking back I was exhausted and bloated early on. I just didn't put two and two together and get four.2nd trimester: Is anyone high risk? What extra precautions are you needing to take, if any? Nope not high risk.

3rd trimester: Have you taken or do you plan to take an infant massage class? took one with logan, doing a little infant massage with Dylan. The weather is ripping up his skin so i have to put lotion/aquaphor on it a lot.

L&D: If you?re already a mom, where were your other children while you were in labor? since i was already in the hospital being monitored, we had a little more time and didn't have to rush. Thankfully Logan went to daycare, she knows his routine and i felt comfortable having him there.  How did they react to you being in labor? He visited me a couple times (not in labor) and kept saying mommy at the Dr's. He had been coming to all my appts for awhile so i think he got it.

First days: How long did post-partum bleeding last for you? I'm in the tail end right now, maybe a few more days. However it lasted forever with logan.

We have been together for almost 10 years, married for 2.  We knew we wanted to have kids once we bought a house, and we did that last year. So this year was filled with "when do we start"...and it's official as of October. We had a vacation we wanted to go on without me being pregnant, and now we are actively TTC :)

We were together 4.5 years and I went off the pill the month we got married. I knew it wouldn't be easy and honestly, I knew i'd end up at the RE clinic...but didn't rush it (now I wish I had). We started at the RE clinic in August.

I can't believe this is my first post about TTC!  We have been together for 10 yrs and married for 7 yrs.  We would have TTC earlier but hit some serious job issues two years ago and we waited.  We haven't seriously TTC but this month I am trying the ovulation tests...just want to find out when I am ovulating, I am too anal to just "try".

How did you know it wouldn't be easy?

I have PCOS, it has been suspected since I was about 15 and I went more than a year without AF. Except for maybe  or 6 times in my life, I've never had AF show without medical intervention (some kind of drug: provera or BCP). I don't ovulate, which I knew from the get go. I had some problems with my original ob/gyn when I first went off the pill in September so it took some time to get a new ob/gyn to get the referral to the RE clinic - when I got to the RE Clinic my RE asked why it took me so long to get the referral. I should have been in months before I actually went in.

  • TTC: How long were you with your partner before deciding to TTC? we were together 3 years..married 1 year before we started trying.  we found out in october that our TTTC was due to male infertility factor.  and just 2 weeks ago found out that our only option would be IVF...feel pretty much defeated.  since there is NO way IVF would be possible for us financially.

somedays i think i'll be ok, other days i just cry my eyes out..not sure what will happen now.  we're basically leaving it up to god now.

  • TTC: How long were you with your partner before deciding to TTC? Together for almost 5 1/2 years - married for just under 2 1/2 years.

1st trimester: What were your early symptoms? When did you notice bloating (if you did)? Both pregnancies the symptoms have been the same - super sore boobs and exhaustion.  I POAS about 3 days after AF was due and got BFPs but didn't have any symptoms yet (just late). Some of my pants have been snug since week 8. I'm sure I'll need maternity pants in a week or so.

Updates: We had a DR's appt. on Thurs. and everything is looking good. Baby is very active. While doing the u/s the dr says "I'm not a tech or an expert in u/s but as of right now the fold is measuring .20" I know I can't really look into it too much but that put me at ease a little bit. I'm a worried mess and I can't wait until our NT on 12/17.
