Good Morning!
I've been on the ball for Xmas shopping, which is weird. I've got the kiddos in my life taken care of and I'm hoping to tackle the adults this weekend.
In other news, we've been working with a software company to impliment some new items at our work. The software company treated some of the group at our work that's been working on the project to dinner at the wine cellar of Noto's last night. It was probably the best meal I've ever had. The chef was *ours* for the night and prepared and explained everything - some food was prepped at our table, other food we went to the kitchen to watch him make - it was great. The wine was tasty too, of course. ;-)
Morning! I'm almost ready for Christmas. We still have to put our tree up (because Nick thinks it's too early yet, booo to him!). After that I'll be in full swing. I'm done with my shopping and wrapping! Yay!
Lets see...nothing really new. I did attempt to make my own chocolate dessert cups and they were awesome! They weren't as pretty as the picture that was shown, but they worked out perfectly! I am really excited to make them tomorrow for our work dessert contest on Friday. I really hope I win!

I'm mostly done with my Christmas shopping. I still have to finish shopping for my husband, and figure out what to get my boss. And I also need to figure out what to do about a white elephant gift for a party we're going to this weekend. And we still need to figure out my husband's parents (although I'm making that my husband's problem).
And I also still need to do my Christmas cards.
The way you talk about him, you shouldn't get anything for your boss! Save your money! He doesn't deserve gifts for you. Well, maybe some coal.

Poked head in, confirmed it was okay to enter and retrieve item.
Tried to quietly retrieve without causing interruption.
Ran into a trash can causing incredible amounts of noise.

I just busted out laughing. That would be me. Brian gets so annoyed with me sometimes because I am so loud.

I'm freezing! My feet are cold, my nose is cold, even my toes are cold. They do not properly heat our office. Most everyone else has a personal heater under their desk, but that would dry out my poor eyes too much, so I don't use one. So I freeze. Poor me.
*whine, whine whine, whine*
That is crappy. Can you drink hot beverages all day?
What about a foot heater that doesn't bow air? Our receptionist had one that heated up, but didn't have a fan of any kind. That might work for you. Let me see if I can find it...

It's sooo cold out there! BRR!
I've been submitting resumes and applications like a madwoman...I really need to find a job as a CNA sooo bad. The one I have right now is only 6 hours a week, and I drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back 3 times a week....gas is KILLING me! I wish I could afford a car with better gas mileage, but that's not in the cards for a while.
