Hello everyone
How is everyone doing?
Does anybody have any updates, questions, vents about TTC?
Or does anybody have any suggestions of things to ask for the TTC check in? I am drawing a BIG blank in deciding what to ask in these check ins......LOL.

Re: TTC Check In
We are now officially TTC again. I think next month I'll start charting. Although we're planning on switching health insurance this month, so I'm a little nervous if I were to get KU if it would be a pre-existing condition??
Happy Birthday Macy!!!!
Today I feel like crossing my arms, stomping my feet and pouting. LOL. I just got back from the doctors and basically he told me I was pregnant, I am not anymore, my sonogram looked good and to come back and see him in a week. For what, I'm not sure.
Blah.
All I want is a effing baby.
LOL. I am feeling a little defeated today. Ha.
But I guess all I can do is keep having sex and pray for a sticky baby. I haven't decided if I am going to start charting again. I kinda like being in the dark about when I O. As weird as that sounds........
::sigh:: Ok, I promise I will have a better attitude going forward!

Did they do bloodwork? They wanted me to keep coming back so they could measure the hcg levels dropping. It sucks going in there & seeing all the pregnant bellies.
Yeah, I will be getting some blood work done on Wednesday and they will be calling me with the results. But he also wants me to make an appointment to see him on Thursday. For whatever reason they couldn't combine the two appointments.
I am thinking the Thursday appointment might be to decide what the next steps for me are but I am not 100% sure.
Good luck to you TTC! I am so excited for you! I have a feeling that you will get a BFP quickly!

Since I stopped BC, I've been using My Days (it's an app on my phone). It's almost like charting but with no temperature taking. You put in the day you start & end AF, then it calculates your fertile week. If AF is pretty regular for you, it should help you TTA until April.
I also feel defeated, really, really defeated. We've been charting for 8 months and activelty trying for four. Granted one of those months I was traveling for work and in different states when it was time to BD. I don't know, most of my IRL friend got KU'd first go around, and I'm starting to freak out that waiting until I was 33 to start trying was a bad idea.
It feels like a lot of DH's relatives as well as high school people I'm friends with on FB are posting their BFP's - maybe it was always this many at a time and I didn't realize because we weren't trying.
A girl I went to high school with is PG with her second, she's only like six weeks along and was talking about how great it is to "feel little kicks again" - I was in a crappy mood, and started to type "it's too soon, you probably have gas" but I decided not to hit "post". I feel horrible for thinking bad things about her.
Vent over ...

No
Sorry for how you're feeling
I know it sucks! TTC is the worst.
LOL.
Good call, not responding... but that's still funny. I feel the same way.
Thanks, I'm glad you chimed in.
BTW- are you secretly TTC??? JK
Good luck Kel! I have faith that one way or another you will get a baby! And then the wait will seem insignificant! Keep your head up......easier said than done, I know!
Hmmm, maybe I should take some of my own advice :P It's funny because I have more confidence in others having a child than I do in myself.

Hey Kel, I was trying to comment on your blog post the other day, but it wasn't letting me for some reason. Sorry for the stress you're going through with the adoption
I couldn't believe about that one place discriminating against you due to religion, I didn't know agencies could or would do that, but I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, since I don't know much about the process.
Those ovulation calculators are more of a guestimate. They don't give you the exact date of when you ovulate so if I were TTA, it would be too risky for me. Stress, sickness, anxiety, change in diet can have an affect on ovulation and delay it.
You can use Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPK) to help pinpoint when you are going to ovulate. The nice thing about OPK's is they will help give you a heads up that you are going to ovulate BEFORE you ovulate. I use them from time to time if I notice my cervical mucus (CM) is looking a little more fertile. Gawd, I hate that word cervical mucus!
And you can also chart. The only downfall of charting is you can't confirm your O until after it has already happened. So if you O'ed early one month unexpectedly, you could get KU if there is still sperm swimming around in your ute!
HTH!

Try that...

Yes we currently have that same exact one! lol!
Here was my experience- I have BCBS and we are NOT on a group plan and I did not have Maternity coverage so, it was considered a pre-existing condition. When I asked if I could add maternity coverage they told me I had to do that 30 days prior to concieving so, no coverage for this pregnancy.
We're hopefully getting on DH's group plan at work so, I can be covered since it won't be pre-existing.
Oh ok. This is what I was afraid of. MH has an individual plan through BCBS & one of our options is to do a family plan with them. Neither of our jobs offers health insurance, so we have to pay 100% out of pocket. I just started reasearching to see if we could come up with a better insurance plan.
Yes, we have the family plan and there was an option for maternity coverage, unfortunetly we just didn't have it. And I was already pregnant so, I couldn't add it. But it does however cover me if i was to have a C-section bc it's considered major surgery. It's good your doing your research! GL!
I'm hoping we don't end up with H's current plan. It covers nothing, but is sooo expensive. I hate shopping for insurance, regardless of which kind.
Oh, and call it wishful thinking but this month I am going to give the "pom juice, green tea, pineapple core" garbage a try. It can't hurt, right?
Gawd, you could sell me anything at this point if you told me it would improve my chances to get pregnant!

Hello ladies!!!
Well I usually wouldn?t talk about AF at all !but it's relevant so lot?s of TMI JAF showed up 30 days exactly, lasted for 5 days and done! It was not a fun experience(thanks for the warning Jen812) but thank goodness it came right on time and for the first time in 4 months I have finally stopped bleeding!!!!
Anyway I?m hoping next month is also regular fingers crossed!!! H wants to try now I?m undecided I would like to wait until January which is only a few weeks but everything has gone wrong this year so we?ll see!
I've read about the green tea, but haven't read up on pom juice and green tea ... maybe something to look into.
