I was just put on bedrest until the first of the year, and I am needing recommendations on how to kill my time strapped to my couch.
My husband was nice enough to give me my Christmas present early, a nook. I am currently reading the Hunger Games series, any suggestions on what to read next?
Suggestions for Netflix?
Please help a girl out. If I dont get any decent suggestions, you will be stuck with me and my dry humor for the next month.

Netflix:
Gilmore Girls
Read:
Enchanted Inc series
Luxe Series
Harry Potter
Some girls get all the luck.
Do you knit or crochet? Now would be a good time to learn or do some projects.
Bookwise, it might be better to go with series of books. Then you can really immerse yourself in the books. Things like Harry Potter, Sookie Stackhouse, whatever it is people call the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series, etc.
Get some comedy DVDs or podcasts or whatever. David Sedaris is fun to read, but he's even better to listen to. Get his books on tape/CD/whatever.

The last couple series I've watched on Netflix Watch It Now are good for the OMG I HAVE TO WATCH THE NEXT EPISODE NOW, which is good for bedrest:
Battlestar Galactica (you should get the minimovie thingy via DVD first, then the rest is on watch it now)
Veronica Mars
Friday Night Lights
Also, if you are a history nerd, lots of Ken Burns stuff is on Watch It Now! I'm not done with it yet, but I really like the National Parks one so far.
Great, now I have Rod Stewart's "Some Guys Have All the Luck" stuck in my head.

I'm with others who say a series to give you something to be excited about.
Is Treme out on DVD yet? If so you totally should get it, soo good. Made by the same people as the Wire which I also love.
