Literally snowed in - what's the best way to kill a snow day?

Re: Literally snowed in - what's the best way to kill a snow day?

  • I've cleaned, organized my front closet, and put up Christmas decorations.  Now I'm going to watch tv with a glass of wine and pat myself on the back, figuratively, for going to the SuperT for some groceries last night.

This afternoon, DH and I ran from window to window watching all the people get stuck while trying to drive.  We live on a corner, and it was a disaster.

And, we're also going to spend significant amounts of time feeling sorry for ourselves because our snowblower is in the shop.  Worst timing ever.  We've done some shoveling, but it is a losing battle until the wind/snow stops.  No one on our street is cleared, so we're waiting until tomorrow at this point.

  • I have pretty much sat on the couch & snuggled this baby all day!
  • Well we were one of the crazy ones out this morning. We went to breakfast at Keys Cafe and then to Target in Hudson to pick up our xmas cards and other items. Then home we went. We had been up with our 6 month old at 5 am and so the driveway was already plowed twice by 9 am!!. The roads were bad but we needed a good breakfast. Target was suprisingly busy too.. folks were for sure out at around noon. The rest of the day we stayed in. DH plowed again and i cleaned the house, addressed xmas cards  and watched a movie.  It was a dashing day!

Do you live in Hudson?? So do I!  Small world. And how did I not know there was another Hudsonite here?

Lots of love and continual explosions of babydust to my BG Besties! XOXOXOXO
