When asked what Santa says, Lila will tell you "YO HO HO" i can't tell if she thinks Santa is a pirate or a hip hop artist.
I now pee when i throwup, first tri is over soon, thank goodness.
I have an ultrasound Wed. and I'm freaked out by it. the whole maternal age thing has entered my thinking space and is messing with it. Wed. is also the one year anniversary of FIL's passing. What a roller coaster of emotions that day will be, especially for Andy.
My house smells like pine and there's enough snow on the ground to make things look white. I love Christmas
Re: Randoms
Yeah, sounds like you Canadians have gotten good and walloped there.
I was really annoyed by the Family Guy Christmas special. I'm a doomsday worrier so having yet another "WE'RE USING UP ALL THE EARTH'S RESOURCES!!! NOT EVEN CHRISTMAS IS SPARED!!!" message made me all freaked out and cranky. I know it's irrational because it's a parody, but blah. Stop harshing my buzz, Seth McFarland.

Yeah, I have friends in areas of Ontario (London, Hamilton) that have had some trouble. Particularly in London, it seems.
Also, I forgot to mention it in my first post, but Lila's Pirate Santa is making me giggle.

this is the first time in 3 days I've been out of the house.
I don't have a single christmas present yet.
I have Dequarvain's (sp?) syndrome and it hurts like a mofo.
last week the Salvation Army bell ringer asked me when my baby was due when I stuffed money in his cauldron. I saw red and bit his head off and then cried all the way home.
I do too. I got fitted for braces around Thanksgiving, and it has made a HUGE difference. I look like a freak, but it helped so much with the pain. Just something to think about if you haven't already started looking at options. I wish I hadn't put it off so long.
I left the house yesterday day dressed cute, with makeup and hair done nicely, and still wearing my slippers because I was in a rush and Ethan had decided that fifteen minutes before we were supposed to leave was when he was going to randomly need an extra feeding he had never needed before. I left my boots sitting right by the door and didn't realize until I got to the party.
It truly truly is.

Lookit how cute Jack is! Adorable. And, we share the same middle name (it's really my maiden name, but it still counts).
I think I overdid it with cake yesterday. The thought of it now turns my stomach, which is sad, because we still have more cake that I have to eat tonight. My life is hard.
I've been having random dreams about aliens visiting Earth and enslaving human beings. It's really strange and they are all very unsettling.
thanks, guys!
it's a FOX, Moo, gah. And it says, "My mom is a fox." It was a gift; I didn't buy it myself to advertise, lol. It's really warm and comfy and made of great material but yet I don't want to show him around in public with it too much because, well, I'm not feeling too foxy lately.
Anyone else getting the annoying Citi popup add on this site?
I've had a sinus infection since Thankgiving. It laughed in the face of my neti pot and the first round of antibiotics, so I had to be put on another antibiotic. I haven't had one this bad in years. My snoring has forced my husband to the couch. Poor husband.
We had to give Mucho Benadryl during the eye infection saga last week. It knocked her out. It is now on the table as a viable option for our flight to Seattle Thursday night. There's always a silver lining.
I've got one piece of the gift for my SS, and I'm getting really nervous about the second getting here ASAP so I can send it this week.
Today is my boss's last day in the office, and it is short or non-existent work weeks from here on out. Happy happy!

My gym is directly across the street from my office, yet I haven't been in over a month.
When we got married, F and I decided that he would deal with his family for holidays (gifts, plans, etc.) and I would deal with mine. He holds up his end of the bargain, but my sisters-in-law always call me to iron out the details of HIS family's holiday gatherings. It really annoys me.
Ian's daycare does a parents night out every year around the holidays. You can leave your kid there for free until 8PM. I'm really excited to go out on a date with my husband.
Every morning, I wake up with a stiff and sore inner ankle. This morning, it was so bad I could hardly walk, much less go up and down the stairs holding a kid. I wonder if I need to call the doctor. I assume I aggravate it by cooking barefoot on our tile floor in the kitchen. It was worth it, I made an amazing lasagna last night.
The idea of going Christmas shopping with two kids makes me want to weep. I have so much left to do but it will have to be done on the internet or at my lunch on the days I work.
My MIL bought Maggie a rather ugly dress to wear on Christmas eve, and she keeps giving me hammidown clothes and shoes from our niece all of a sudden. She also likes to dress Maggie in them on the days they are at her house. They look dated and kind of make her look like a ragamuffin.
I love salami.
I am officially all set with winter, and it hasn't actually started yet. I think life would be far better if February and March didn't exist.
In baby relatedness, the first time I left the house with Shartlette, once I arrived to my destination I realized I didn't know how to get the car seat out of the base. Also, people - namely my mother - keep buying her inappropriately sized clothes in flapper girl style. My aunt bought her a valentines day outfit that is for a 9 month old. My mom bought her a...
fur coat. Size 18 months. She will be 18 months in May of 2012.
I find the word "titty" very creepy. But I also find it hysterical when I use it.

I'm in a rotten mood this morning. I think it just carried over from yesterday, it was a waste of a day. We're thinking about trading my car in, it's getting old, so we went to go test drive a couple cars yesterday. It was the most frustrating car shopping experience ever.
We did nothing but waste over an hour and spent about 10 minutes with the sales guy. The car he finally brought around for us should have never been driven by someone looking to buy it, we turned around about 1/4 mile into the test drive and left. I was so god damned annoyed.

Jack is so cute! I love his shirt enough that I'm willing to overlook the "my mom is a fox" part.
I made molasses cookies this weekend but accidentally put in way more molasses than I was supposed to. So I decided to triple the ressypee and thus ended up with 90 cookies when I only intended to have 30.
I'm sending my SS gift off today. Looking at it, I feel like I may have tried too hard to be funny and not hard enough to provide an actual useful gift. Whoops.

11/11/11 = 5 years. Woah!
I want to see that fur coat! She may be wearing size 18 months in the winter of 2011. If it's too big for it, just bring it to Wm. H. Harris for alterations.
I've decided that I don't like other people to buy clothes for Ian.
I shipped my SS gift Saturday. I hope it doesn't suck.
i'm going to have to throw red paint on Angie's baby.
I'm annoyed at my H from last night, but he's already apologized. I should just let it go but I'm sooooo annoyed. Blah. I'll probably just let it go.
I shipped my SS gifts on Saturday, and I'm ridiculously excited for them to arrive, because I think I did pretty good on one of them.
And I cannot get over how much Jack looks like tasty. It looks like he came out of her or something.

Ask and you shall receive.
I am hoping she never has to wear it. I also do not like other people buying clothes. 90% of what I have been given is fug.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
We got home last night at 2:45. I overslept today. My hair looks insane. I forgot my glasses.
I'm making part of my SS gift and I'm almost done with it, but it might not go out in the mail until tomorrow. SS gift recipient, I apologize for making you wait. When I send it it'll go out with Priority Mail to expedite your receiving it, so hopefully that will help.
I have been trying for the last two months to find Kate a nanny. We have to pull her out of daycare due to her food allergy issues, and I am having no luck. I have had people back out, not show up for interviews, and some total sketch balls apply. "Sure, 18 year old boy. Please nanny for my daughter."
Who wouldn't want to nanny for a cute baby? I mean, she even looks cute without glasses! Off to search for more nannies....
OMG the fur coat. For some reason, it makes me think of Carol Channing.
I've been fortunate and have liked all the clothing I've been given. The only exception (a "Mommy's Little Slugger" shirt) is a hammidown, so I don't feel bad about not using it.
Other randoms:
-I've been getting increasingly and inexplicably ragey when people on The Bump refer to their fetuses/children as "my little ___" (my little man, our little princess, etc.). Why not just say son/daughter/baby/kid? I think I was born without the cutesy gene.
-I made Pioneer Woman's chocolate peppermint cookies yesterday and love them, but I think I OD'd on them today.
-I'm now up to Season 2 of Modern Family. Phil is growing on me. Now I dislike Luke instead (and still dislike Haley).
I'm planning to send out my SS gift tomorrow. Hopefully she'll be okay with getting it a little bit late. I'm really never on time for anything. Ever.
I have a few more randoms. I got a call from dc - apparently Miles bit another kid this morning. He didn't break the skin, but left a mark. So now I have to try to discourage him from biting. Awesome.
Someone asked me today what words Miles is saying now. I'm now slightly freaked out that my child says no words yet (other than nonsensical words, like "dis" and "dat", and mama or dada but not to the right people).
