Re: Randoms
A high heel shoe wine bottle holder and a purse wine topper. I really should take a picture.
I can understand being upset by them sabatoging your plans. I do think the breastfeeding issue would make me over the top upset if they tried to give formula or solids.
Is your MIL going to be regularly watching the baby? If so, I would be more upset about the cloth, but if not, it is really no big whoop unless there turn out to be allergy issues.
Our daycare just puts them in a bag, no rinsing. And showing them how easy the diapers were was helpful. Maybe those can help.
Also, if she likes cute things, maybe show her some cute diaper designs, have her pick some out to use with cute patterns/prints, and then she will feel more ownership of that.
Did it also come with a wine glass with "Sexy Biitch" airbrushed on it? Christ.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
When I showed my parents what CD's looked like they were both surprised at how different they were from when we were kids. It helped them to be more on board with it.
I got comments about using a midwife, planning a home birth and then about BF'ing past 6 months. It bugged me at first but I realized it is because my MIL just didn't know too much about these things. So I spent time talking to her about them and now she is awesome about things.
That sounds awful.
Liza too. Exact same thing. I think it's her pirate imitation.
