This. Very firmly all of this.
I was thinking about it as I was driving through the back streets to get home from work tonight. Knowing how much my pets mean to me, the thought of hitting someone else's made me tear up. I could just see myself in my mind's eye going from door to door looking for the owner. I would feel horrible and guilty and that I'd never be able to make it up to whomever.
It's a testament to your character that you've done this well with this. I'm a bad person and would have done something awful to her by now. I understand that accidents happen (though in this case, wth was she doing on your driveway and not on the road?), but wow, own your mistakes. I'm seeing a black eye and some slashed tires. Yup, I'm going to H E double toothicks.

lol jena, i love you. im not going to lie, i had a hard time not punching her in the face while she was here. but i just prayed for God to calm me down, because hitting her wouldn't have brought hershey back. when she said she was leaving i told her that was the best decision she had made all day. then, she apparently called my cousin back and told her that she left because i was very angry and she thought i might hit her. so in all honesty, i wasn't very nice. but to me she deserved it..
I'm so sorry you are going through this. I know how hard it is when pets pass away of old age, but I can't imagine an avoidable event taking my kitties' life.
She'll get what's coming to her. And if not, you tell us her information and you'll have some badass nesties that will take care of it

Oh Shasta! I am so sorry for the loss of your puppy! You are a much better person than I am, I would have beat her @ss right there in the driveway.
I used to live in the country and had 2 dogs get hit and killed within 6 months and neither person stopped. I know exactly how you feel. But Karma is a B!tch and she will get hers just wait!
