DH & I are spending the weekend in Newport, RI.

I LOVE Newport! I wish we could be there for NYE. All of MHs family lives up there.

Next time you're up visiting, let me know. Maybe we can do a mini GTG. Newport's not that far from us, it's just nice to stay the weekend & not have to worry about driving.

Definitely! We are trying to get up there shortly after the baby is born. MHs aunt is very sick and it doesn't look like her treatments are working.

We used to go to R Beach alllll of the time. We've gone in a few times, but not so much in the past 2 years or so.

We invited H's family over for the weekend. They bailed yesterday. BIL is still coming. We also invited some friends over, initially they said they could come, but they've been avoiding us..sooo... guess not, ha.

I guess I'll search around and see what is going on locally, probably nothing. The restaurant down the road from us is having a NYE party, thought about asking Chris if he wants to go there-- but the drinks are pretty expensive there.

R Beach. I saw something on their sign this morning about a NYE shindig.

What were you going to put in the coffee instead? I would love to try that. I try to get the sugar free or fat free creamer, which only comes in vanilla. Once in a while I'll get a real one, but I try to only once in a while.

We are going to the home of some friend's for dinner and hanging out. They have children close to DS's age and another couple will be there with children. I know I will be too tired to stay up late, don't want to go out or get a babysitter, so this was perfect. I already told H next NYE we are getting a sitter(s) and going out and doign something really fun.

As for a resolution- I usually never make them, but I decided that I was going to give up my beloved flavored coffee creamer, (because it seemed ridiculous to try to be such a healthy eater if I was going to load up my coffee every day with artifical crap). But after playing around with natural, healthier alternatives, I came to the conclusion I just can't do it. So I decided my resolution instead to wear more accessories, since I've gotten lazy about it. I think I'll have much better luck with this one.
