Re: Share your pets!
Yay! This is a crappy cell phone pic, bit this is Jasper. He's awesome. We got him about a month and a half ago. For some reason he had is tongue out for like 15 minutes.
Here is my brother's dog, Bella!
This is our "snuggle puppy" as I call her, Miley. She is a mutt we adopted from the Humane Society in July 2009. We always say we hit the dog lottery when we adopted her. She is so well behaved, so pretty, and has the softest fur. Everyone comments on how soft she is when they pet her. She HATES when we put her in costumes (as seen above!) She acts like a teenager. She was excited to see us for about 5 minutes when we got home from our honeymoon, they she gave us the "silent treatment" and ignored us like she was mad that we left her for a week!
Note: hoping this method of picture posting works, forgive me if it doesn't!
So I'm obviously obsessed w/my dog...so sorry to take over this post, but here are some pictures of Oscar (1yr, 9mo English bulldog):
In my lap, the day we got him:
The collar we had for him was way too big!:
The day Ben proposed (wearing the "Will you marry me?" collar):
The drooly mess only a mother could love:

Hey girls! Long time! I haven't been on in almost a month. Between work, church, the holidays, and married life things have been crazy. But I've missed you all! Glad to be back.
Here's our fur baby, Doxy. He is a dachshund/chihuahua mix and will be 7 this month!
My dad missed him so much after the wedding when we moved out that he just got himself a new dog. Meet Buddy, an 8 year old dachshund. He's super sweet and I'm so happy to welcome him to our family!

So cute everyone!
I'm biased to dogs...I love how fluffy Miley looks and Bre- is that a pic of Doxy from your wedding? I love the bow-tie!

Hannah- I love how you showed pics of your dog at various stages of growth...so adorable!
Karen- There are puggle rescues (they save them from puppy mills), so you can still "save" a dog if you have your heart set on a puggle. My cousin has one and she is the sweetest dog!
My grumpers Serena...posing like a hussy.
lol Dyork, I love your commentary.
Karen- DH's old neighbor had a puggle that was adorable! I'd definitely look into the puggle rescue's like Christie suggested.
Speaking of, there's a huge bulldog rescue here and I want to adopt one SO bad! I'm FB friends with them...looking at the pics of the poor pups they post and DH wanted to wait is really an issue.

I have way too many pics of mine. Tobey is on the left and Calvin is on the right. They are from the same litter; I adopted them seven years ago from a shelter when they were kittens.

Meet Spencer, my 3 year old Keeshond:
Here he is at 6 weeks, still at his breeder's:

Here he is at 10 weeks:

And finally more recently:

This is our baby. She's a ten year old pit bull. Someone else mentioned that they feel like they won the dog lottery. I feel the exact same way! She is such a joy...so well behaved, incredibly loving, amazingly caring, and friend to absolutely everyone she meets! She's named Dottie after a friend I lost to a car accident when I was in college, and she shares so many of the same wonderful personality traits that he had...but in dog form

Here's Whiskey, the lab mix that N and I rescued. She was our firt dog to have together. Now's she almost 2. She loves her Georgia Tech outfit that she wears for games.
This is Whiskey and our new puppy, Jack D. sleeping after all the Christmas festivities.
Then we were so lucky to be able to finally bring home my childhood dog (10yrs old) from my parents' house. We couldn't have him in our apartment because he has people issues and unfortunately bit someone, but our house has a big fenced in backyard and is a good fit for him.
Kenna - oh my! Cute puppy pics!!!
Allie- adorable! Is Jack D for Jack Daniels?

My red dog Juno has some issues too! She's some sort of Akita/Husky/Shiba mix and she tend to be a fear aggressor. She's so mellow and sweet at home, but very mistrustful of strangers and has separation anxiety.
She's also scary smart, so we have to keep a good handle on her.
It's amazing what they won't tell you until after you adopt the dog. Mine are both rescues and come with issues. One day Pete and I will get a puppy and start from scratch.

Our Riley, aka Riley-dog, Riley-roo, Roo, Roobie, Roobie-roo, or Ri-a-lino:
I thought we had pictures on this computer of our cats, Miley and Jethro, but I guess we don't. I'll have to look them up when things slow down for the day.
One of ours was in the wedding - ring bearer with the real rings. Both were at the outdoor venue for the ceremony and reception but off to the side.
Generally speaking, I'm a dog person. However, Mike came with baggage - and now she's my baby girl! Unfortunately, Mike named her Grimmy (said Grime-y) as in dirty. He lived in Philly and one day, four years ago, a dirty stray kitten showed up and never left - hence Grimmy.
Ha oh man, when I get home I'll have to upload a picture of my cat. Same situation, I LOVE dogs, not too big on cats. But Rosie came with Dave and she seriously looks just like your cat.
Let me know if Mike wants a Grimmy to have a sister.......
Sad thing is, we did get Odie as a puppy. He was about 4 months but he exhibited a pretty fearful nature when we got him home. We didn't really notice how bad it was until he got older though. Part of it is we think he can't see very well and in the case of him biting someone, in his defense she was yelling and kicking at him to try to make him go away (he had gotten out and was wandering by the shopping center that backs up to my parents property).
Hannah: Jack D. does stand for Jack Daniels. His coloring reminded him of the Jack bottle and since we already had a dog named Whiskey, we just went with the theme. My sister calls my dogs the "ode to whiskey and jack" which makes me lol since it wasn't intentional.
Squirt, our red earred slider, who is FULL of personality and attitude.
We have 3 animals. The first is our first pet together, her name is Bellyflop(she is 6) and she is some sort of lab mutt. Next up we have Olive, who is a 3 yr old boxer. She and Belly have a love hate relationship. And then we have Zeke. He is our fat, fat cat. He and Olive are in love.
I totally want you guys to see my cat..but the nest hates me soooo go to my facebook LMAO
