Re: i joined ww.
I haven't been a size 8 since high school. I thought I was so fat then. Oh, how stupid I was.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
i agree. i'd be a 4 at around 125lbs and I look good. Even at a 2 i did not looks sickly or abnormal, just fit.
My BMI range is from 105-145. I have always assumed that the 105 area is for very fine-boned people. There's no way I could even attempt to get down to 105, much less sustain it healthfully. I think with weight, as with size, it all depends upon your frame. I do not have a small frame. I think even at 125, I looked a little thin (to me, maybe not to others?). Sure, I enjoyed buying smaller sizes, and though it was sustainable, it was not at all enjoyable (I really like my food).
I totally get that a size 8 could be 'fat' for others, but I feel fine in it. Not fat, not thin - medium, which is good enough. And as I am trying to impart to my child, good enough is good enough. I embrace mediocrity.
Yeah, I have no idea at what weight I'd be a 4. I've never been a 4, except I guess I was probably a children's 4 at some point.
It looks like the healthy range for my height is 114-151. 114 is NOT going to happen for me. I don't have a goal weight, but I'd like to be a size 8ish. I think that's going to be around 145-150 pounds on me based on previous years. I'm 27 down, and 40 or 45 to go.

I think I have reverse anoxeria. I've been all sizes from 6 to 16. My best is a 10, but I'd refer be a 12 than a 6.
Yeah, I mean I'm really small and more muscular than most women, but still - at 125/130 I was solidly in overweight category for me. I look blobby above a 4. I prefer a more athletic build on myself though.
But yes. I think lots of women look awesome at size 2 or 4.
Hipbones don't necessarily make you underweight though. I think it's all so relative especially once muscle is taken into account.
I'm 5'6" and 127 and somewhere in the 4-6 range depending on the brand. I'm not too skinny, but I don't need to lose any more weight. I actually want to put on a few pounds of muscle. I'm 127lbs of solid flub right now, so I'd be healthier a bit heavier but not fatter. I also tend to look heavier than I am since I carry weight in my upper arms.
I do too. Really, people are different shapes and densities, guys.

okla it's been a while and everyone seems giant from way down here, ha, but aren't you like 5'9" at least?
And confession: it obviously depends on the specific person and their build, but seeing ribs or hip bones does not automatically look sick or gross to me.
I don't necessarily think it looks sick--like on marathoners, but I always think it is unattractive.
Fitty, I'm about 5'8".
Yeah, my whole point was everyone carries their weight differently. What looks good on one looks bad on another.
It doesn't matter, though, because I will probably be stuck at 160 and a size 10 for life. Someone brought in three loaves of bread from Panera and I keep going and eating a slice. Sourdough is my weakness.
I have some kind of reverse anorexia or whatever it would officially be called. Except in photos and dressing room mirrors. At home I always think, Hey I look fine....good, even. Then I see a picture of myself or try on new clothes and I'm disgusted.

I do this too.
Huh...I didn't know my H was moonlighting as a photographer. I've never seen a flattering picture taken by that man.
Ditto.
Man, there are a lot of short people in this thread. Where my tall girls at?
I'm 5'10" and was a hot size 10 at 164 lbs (my lowest adult weight, been overweight my whole life). 150 would be a 6-8 for me. My dream weight. I have a looooong way to go to get back down there. I just want to lose 20lbs before my sister's wedding so that I don't hate the pictures forever and ever.
I was going to start Weight Watchers yesterday but with my stomach drama I decided to start next week instead.
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
PG-I was wondering where the tall girls were myself. I'm 5'11 and according to Wii my ideal weight should be somewhere around 157 and WW says the healthy range is between 143-179.
I can't even remember how long it's been since I've been there and in fact can't remember wearing anything less than a 14 since I was a kid. I'm not sure I want to know how long it will take me to get back there.
Oh, yeah at 135 w/out curves (seriously my bra was 28
, I was a 4. Post-baby the lowest I've been was 140ish and a 6.
My new I'm-not-preg-maternity jeans are a 10. I think I look pretty good until I see pictures. My solution is to tell myself they're just bad pictures.

Sometimes I wonder if scientists have never seen a sci-fi movie before. "Oh yes, let's create a super species of deer. NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG." I wonder if State Farm offers a Zombie Deer Attack policy. -CaliopeSpidrman
YESSSSSSS. My arms don't have dimples in my mirror. I don't have 3 chins, either.
I wonder if I have hip bones under this fat somewhere. I've recently discovered that I have collarbones and it's amazing.
