A mini-poll for you: what's something you don't like, that is so universally loved that you're almost afraid to admit you don't like it?
For example, I'm pretty open about my opinions, and I don't like many things that are trendy. But I don't like telling people that I hated the movie "The Dark Knight" because I invariably get a 'ZOMG you can't be serious! That movie is so AWESOME' response.
Also, I don't like beer. I admit it freely, but sometimes I keep my mouth shut because I know that someone will say I just haven't had GOOD beer, and if I have THIS beer I'll like it. And I never do. So around beer snobs I just say I'm not in the mood to drink.

I hate, hate, HATE the show Seinfeld. I cringe every time someone references it.
I also can't get into Glee. At all.
Twitter is stupid. No one needs to know when you're eating, bathing or taking a schit.

I agree on all of these things, except Glee. Though I am not really loving Glee lately. BUT the only one that I wouldn't shout on a farking street corner is that I hate Family Guy - people look at me like I'm crazy when I admit that.
I mean, who would give you a hard time for hating skinny jeans on guys? That can't possibly be an unpop op for most people...can it?
Not a fan of Seinfeld, Simpson's or Family Guy. I've never understood the big fuss for any of these.
I'm with everyone else with skinny jeans on guys. However, I own a pair (only wear them with boots) and a tunic sweater or longer sweater.
I'm probably all by myself on this one but I'm not a big fan of summer. I prefer winter and sweaters and cozy fires over the hot, humid, sweaty weather of summer.

I am in a crux as I'm not really afraid to have an unpopular opinion.
I loathe Uggs with a fiery passion.
I feel this way about most of the things people have posted.
However, there are a few pop culture things that get such a strong response from people that I don't feel like dealing with the aftermath.
I guess one unpopular opinion I have that's a little controversial, though I'm not afraid to say it, is that I think smoking in public should be illegal. Designated closed-in areas would be ok, as would smoking in your home or car as long as there are only consenting adults present. While we're on that note, it should be illegal to smoke in a car or house with kids nearby.
Not afraid to admit these but I don't like:

avocado (yes, I'm really from California)
skinny jeans (80's flashback)
leg warmers
big purses -just nms

This made me sad - I liked you before I knew this.
I hate reality TV (even though it pays my bills).
I like chocolate, but I don't love it - I can't have chocolate cake with fudge filling and choc frosting covered with chocolate shavings. That's just too much.
I hate Seinfeld.
I love movies and film, but have NO interest in watching a lot of the classics (I've never seen Godfather).
I hate Snuggies - but I admit they seem useful.
I don't see a point to drinking alcohol. I love champagne, but not because of the buzz it gives me.

To add to this: I CANNOT STAND when asshats pull up to a stop light, roll down their windows and stick their cigarettes as faaaaaar out their windows and as close to my car as possible, so that it's coming in through my vents. Seriously?! It's all in your goddamn lungs and all over your clothes, hair, etc. already - keep inside your own car! It makes me want to shove the cigarettes up their peeholes.
i think crocs look dumb on anyone over the age of 5 (no matter what color - i understand why nurses wear them though, doesn't mean they look good)
i hate tomatoes, mushrooms, and peppers. and grits, and yes im still a southerner.
I hate Warhol. HATE. He ruined professional art and directly led to a world where idiots with expensive software programs get more acclaim than those of us who have natural talent and have taken the time to learn how to actually paint.
