2. Favorite ice cream place? Coldstone (but I have never been to a Brighams)

4. If you could purchase one luxury fashion item, what would it be? An Uppa Vista Baby (so it's not fashion, but it is an overpriced accessory!)
5. Favorite "special night out" restaurant? It was Icarus, but they closed. I do love Masa!
6. Worst meal out? The Beehive after we went for RW. RW was amazing and when we went back it was just terrible.
7. Favorite decorating trend? Ummm...Pottery Barn style. LOL. My mom is the decorator and I have her do nearly it all.1. Favorite Burger place? There isn't a place that stands out in the area. To be honest I am not a HUGE fan of burgers. There was this amazing place I used to hit up in Fresno for these burgers piled with avocado, some sort of special salsa, and other goodies. Whenever I was there for work I HAD to get one.

3. Starbucks or DD? Starbucks! Skinny vanilla latte
4. If you could purchase one luxury fashion item, what would it be? I just purchased the Bugaboo Frog...does that count?
5. Favorite "special night out" restaurant? Capital Grille and Ruth's Chris are our go-to places because they are H's favorites, BUT I love this little place in Maynard "Cast Iron Kitchen." All the beef is locally raised, and grass fed.
6. Worst meal out? This silly Mexican place that our realtor raved about when we bought our house. It was disgusting.
7. Favorite decorating trend? I am with Punky---love love love Pottery Barn.

If we were still in Boston I'd have gotten a luxury stroller due to the cobblestone and cracked sidewalks and all the walking we do. I'm still working on the UBV to DH though. He wants to go straight for a jogger but let's face it *whisper* we don't jog. I haven't jogged since I was fostering that husky 2 summers ago.
The UBV is beautiful. We looked at it. I had always had my eye on the Frog though, and sadly it is being discontinued. So I HAD to get it now...plus because it is being discontinued the price dropped!

1. Favorite Burger place? The most amazing burger I've ever had was at this little roadside place in Kauai that, sadly, I can't remember the name of (but it's in the Kauai Revealed guide book). Strange place to have a great burger since all their meat is imported, but it was amazing.
2. Favorite ice cream place? Cabot's, which really means Richardson's since that's the ice cream they sell.
3. Starbucks or DD? I guess Starbucks, but DD is fine too.
4. If you could purchase one luxury fashion item, what would it be? Hmm...I really don't know since I don't even let myself look at that stuff! Some kind of couture dress, probably.
5. Favorite "special night out" restaurant? Argh, so many choices...locally it'd be Salts, Blue Ginger, or No. 9 Park. I'm dying to go to French Laundry and Gary Danko though and am kicking myself for not making it more of a priority when we lived in the Bay Area.
6. Worst meal out? Bugaboo Creek. Six of us went once after a day of shopping and all our food came out looking like unidentifiable slabs of brown stuff with more brown goop as the only garnish. I don't expect 5-star plating, but c'mon!
7. Favorite decorating trend? Hmm, I don't really have one. I tend to just like what I like and go with it.

BTW... I had to laugh at the luxury fashion item responses... I expected to hear more "drop dead Louboutin" but I think it's super cute that so many of you are mommies and are excited about fabulous baby accessories! : )
I think "Ginger" would have to go with the Louboutin's as well, since one of the songs that inspired our drag conversation was "In These Shoes" by Kirsty Maccoll.

I'm blessed...>DH lets me do crate and barrel accessories, and allows me to have my obsession with lighthouses and ocean things....four rooms out of our apartment have lighthouses in them....we have 5 rooms....the office i think is lighthouse-less.....Getting fit for IVF!

Blue Ginger was awesome! And yes, the Wine Cellar is on Mass Ave. I think it's a great experience for a special occasion. Oh, I just remembered another place we've done a few times- Chiara in Westwood. Really great also!

5. Favorite "special night out" restaurant? My favorite ever restaurant is Trattoria Delia in Burlington, VT. In MA, it's either Ristorante Saraceno in the North End or Davio's Italian Steakhouse (which I would normally think it overrated, but their swordfish dish is a-ma-zing!)
6. Worst meal out? The Yard House at Legacy Place. Cool atmosphere but terrible service and overpriced, mediocre food.
7. Favorite decorating trend? I really want to try wallpaper... There are so many awesome patterns and styles now, and it's really coming back in. But DH would never let me do it. We spent far too long getting the nasty crappy wallpaper from the 70's off the walls when we first bought out house to put any back on!
This is the same for us. There is no way we would ever put wallpaper on these walls after all the time it took for us to get layer after layer off.
