Seventh Anniversary
in Northern California Nesties

I am going to make some lemon bars with the lemons that SM23 gave me yesterday, BUT I have NO clue what to make for dinner.

I have some kale, broccoli, chicken, a pretty stocked pantry... and lots of lemons.  =)  HELP I truly have NO idea... I also have potatoes (small ones which could be good to make crash potatoes.... thoughts ?

    Bring it over to my house since I have no food and am already starving... you could make lemon chicken and broccoli on the side. Or a broccoli and chicken casserole.

    I'd make a chicken noodle soup with lemon (giada recipe) so yummy. I'm in a soup mood lately though. Your dessert sounds yummy =)

    What kind of chicken? A whole one or breasts? Do you have any cheese? You could make a chicken stuffed with some lemon zest and cheese and then make some smashed potatoes and broccoli.

    We're having breakfast for dinner. Chocolate chip pancakes with bananas on top and smoked gouda hashbrowns.

    It's what we do when we're running low on food, or I know I've got a large meal coming up and I don't want to have too many leftovers. DH loves it, he's such a pancakes and french toast kinda guy.

    I'm late responding and wouldn't have had any dinner inspiration for you any way (we got Zachary's for dinner...). But I'm SO glad you took those lemons. That huge bag is seriously only about a third of what I have on my tree, and we have the two trees in the yard next door that I try to pick regularly. Nobody lives there and I feel bad letting the lemons just go to waste...
