Thank you all for your kind words. We don't have any details about the arrangements (the family was able to pre-plan because they were prepared that this was coming). But, I believe the wake is going to be on Friday, and the funeral on Saturday.
I'm sad, but also thankful. It's freaky... last night as I was helping Shannon to say her prayers, I included, "Please let Auntie Michelle no longer be in pain" instead of "May her final days be pain-free" as I have been praying for the last couple of months. That prayer was just about the same time that she passed, surrounded by her family.
I ask that you continue to pray for my aunt's husband, children and grandchildren, as well as my grandparents, mother and aunts and uncles. I know that the totality of her passing has not hit them yet, and as prepared as they all were for this, many of them are going to be blindsided by grief in a few days. I truly hope that they are all able to get through this devastating loss.
