I actually have something I have wanted to talk about for a long time.
But the thing is, I see it as either
a. starting some sort of shitstorm or
b. everyone being super nice but talking sh!t about me behind my back
Neither of which is constructive.....
My lame confession...none of my children have ever had a nursery. We co-sleep at first anyway (though that was not the plan with V) and I have never really felt like decorating a cute nursery when I am huge and pregnant.
The other day, someone H works with asked him what our nursery colors are and he said he felt like a bad parent when he told her we don't have a nursery because of they way she looked at him.
AW - We went out to dinner last night and I was so proud of DS. He was so happy, quiet and patient. He ate all his broccoli too, before he even started on his quesadilla he was grabbing heads of broccoli and just eating them. That's kind of a dumb thing to be excited about, but I was.
I can't think of a confession right now. I think of one like every other day of the week... but right now I've got nothing.

I was out until 3 am last night. I'm hungover at work. I'm too old for this shizz.
The first convo I heard when I got here was a 15 minute discussion about foffing staples. It took all my beer-depleted energy to not tell them to shut up.
Do it. Today is going to draaaag by and I don't want to work. *** STORM.
We finally got a second car!! We've been sharing a car for 2 years now. It's so nice to have my own car again. We got a great deal on it too!

Haha, okay! It's a 2008 Jeep Patriot. It was a repo at the bank we use. The guy we talked to when we went to see it said it's the cleanest repo he's ever seen. The only problems were a couple of small rock chips in the windshield. They offer 2.99% interest rate if you buy one of their repos. And it only has 44,000 miles. And we got it at a great price! I really like it! It's a small SUV, it feels like driving a car when you're in it because it's so much closer to the ground than most SUVs. But the inside is surprisingly roomy. And it gets pretty great gas mileage (compared to our truck haha).

AW: My DH is awesome! I get a full night's sleep tonight! YAY! I've been having insomnia since LO was born, pretty much every time I try to fall asleep I can't. No matter how tired I feel. By the time I drift off to sleep LO wakes up. This is in day/night. So, by now I have gotten used to living off 3hrs of sleep and feel wide awake at 3am. So, my amazing DH has offered, no DEMANDED, that I sleep tonight, and not worry about LO! I am so excited! He did this for me when she was 2wks old and wow! It's crazy what a full night sleep does for you!
CONGRATS on the new vehicle and getting a good deal and intrest rate!

stripes - I was able to read it, and that seriously sucks. That's all I'll say on that one.
Jenn - I don't have a nursery for JJ, either. We'll convert his crib to a toddler bed soon and see if he'll sleep in it, but he and I still co-sleep. I got some side eyes, too, when people found out I didn't have a nursery, but whatev. That may change when we move, but who knows.
Kaylee - congrats on the new car! You're such a strong person - don't feel guilty for that. It wasn't your problem to handle [IMO].
My AW: I've been working out this week and have actually lost a couple of pounds. I'm pretty excited about it and hope to continue to slim down over the next few weeks. Now, I just need to find running shoes...
My confession: I keep having dreams about NBA players. And they're not even players I found too terribly dashing in real life, but they are super hot in my dreams...it's just so weird. I need to quit watching so much basketball.
My other confession: I plan on going to a spa in Denver when I go see H in March, but I haven't quite told him yet. Now, I DID tell him we could go to a Nuggets game if they're playing while I'm there, but I'm kinda wanting to back out of 'Melo gets traded before then. Sigh.
My FFFC: I work at several nursing homes... I work in the therapy department, we are there 5 days a week and the schedule doesn't change. I get so stinkin' ticked off when the aids refuse to get a patient up out of bed. First of all, these people rely on the aids to get them up so they can try to get better (these are people staying in the nursing home as a part of rehab...the goal is for them to go home). Most days I just grin, apologize for bothering them (asking them to do their job) and wait on them to be able to get my job done. But some days I just want to tell them how lazy I think they are and that maybe they should get a new job! Honestly, I want to tell them something a little less nice than that, but I would sound like a total you-know-what, so I'll leave it at that.
I'm a bit bummed I missed some of the earlier confessions.
H is being a grade-a douchebag tonight and he's driving me crazy. I'm glad he's working nights this next week - I need a little bit of 'me' time.
AW: I just spent $98 dollars at the mall. Here's what I got for that money: I hit up Godiva and got a box of pecan bark for a gift, 2 loose truffles, and a box of 16 chocolates (usually $25 but on clearance for $10 because it was in a Christmas box), plus a free sample of chocolate. Then at Macy's I bought 2 dresses (usually $79 and $59, on clearance for about $14 each) and 2 sweaters (usually $20, on clearance for $10). Score!
When I tell DH how much I spent on each thing, he always thinks I'm trying to justify the money I spent. He doesn't seem to realize that I'm bragging about the awesome deals I found.
