Crazy as usual. Friday night when we were sleeping, he was going nuts-- DH thinks he was climbing the shower curtain to the top and then jumping off... continuously... then he ran into the bedroom and was able to make it up on the dresser and on top of the tv which is his latest accomplishment... and then I could hear him run all the way down the two flights of stairs and then back up again. He kept this on for half the night (most nights he does sleep most of the night-- he was on a mission that night though).

DH's favorite baseball player of all times is Dwight "Dewey" Evans. He's always wanted to name an animal Dewey. It totally suits him. I call him Dewars sometimes too Smile We also say his name like in the Gilly skit on SNL.

What are you doing for your next vacation? In March, we're going to CA for a few days for my dad's 60th birthday... and then Antigua in May for my best friend's wedding.

Also did you go to Body Pump without me on Sat? No, I was still recovering from being sick Also, are you going to go this Sat? I will be there :-) I will try! I was soooooo sore last week but I need to go more regularly.

What has been your favorite vacation spot? Probably my hometown ski moutain... I like the beach too and loved St. Lucia.

What is your favorite movie? One of my all-time favorites is American President.... and I have no idea why.

How did you get into your line of work? I volunteered at Camp Sunshine (near you Jaime) during the summer before my senior year of college-- (it's a camp for children with life-threatening diseases and their families). I fell in love with working with the families and illnesses and during my senior year, I realized that I wanted to pursue some kind of field to be able to do so. I decided social work was the best fit for me to be able to do so. Up until my 2nd year of grad school, I wanted to be a pediatric oncology social worker... and I'm happy that I decided to stick with adults in the medical setting though.

How did you and Dan meet? One of my 3 jobs during grad school, I worked at Restoration Hardware-- and he worked there too. We started talking about his nalgene bottle which had a Sugarloaf sticker, realized we know mutual people and have so many of the same experiences (grew up in Maine, went to college in VT, etc). Our lives overlapped so much that it's kind of creepy at times.

It's going really well, thanks! My acupuncturist feels I've made some progress. It's such a neat feeling and I walk away feeling centered/ balanced. I wish insurance covered it a bit more. It's definitely worth it though!

What is your favorite Simon and Dewey story? It's hard to decide. One of my favorite is probably when Dewey was so little and he used to try to nurse on Simon.... on multiple parts of the poor dog. He used to have to hide under the covers to avoid getting latched on. And there were a few naughty latches...

Do they get along for the most part? Yes, they rough-house daily. Sometimes Dewey bites Simon too hard and he hides or yelps. If I reprimand Simon for being to rough, Dewey turns around and slams himself on Simon so I don't have to worry about him.

What is your favorite part about being a pet owner? Their unconditional love (or so they say)... I'm pretty sure Simon has "conditional" love sometimes though. He's pretty moody. BUT he's a huge cuddler and I love that!

If you could do a second honeymoon, where would you go? There are so many places I'd love to go-- Ireland prehaps because I've never been and it seems so beautiful.

What do you like to do for exercise? (I see you on the H&F board once in a while) I don't think I've ever posted on H&F! I like taking classes like bodypump & kickboxing... and love working out with other people in general but hate to workout myself. I lose motivaton.

What is your next vacation spot? Palm Springs for a few days for my dad's birthday and then Antigua for a wedding

Do you plan on coming to the west coast? Yes, March

What was the best part of your wedding? Marrying my DH... he made the awful planning process worth it.

What are your top 3 makeup must haves? Probably the only things I use... foundation, bronzer and mascara (I think I use another powder thing but not sure what it is)
