We got a puppy this weekend. So far, she's been really good. We named her Chilly. I'm the only one that likes her name. Everyone else thinks it's dumb.
She's a Golden Retriever/Poodle mix. 9 weeks old.

She is so adorable! I think the name is cute (although for some reason TLC's Chilli popped into my head and now I'm singing "Creep" to myself...) I wouldn't worry about what anyone thinks, she's your puppy, not theirs. Enjoy getting aquainted with your new baby!
Haha... thanks.
Okay, I spoke (typed) too soon. DH is home today with the puppy. He just told me that he put her in her crate while he took a shower, came out to find vomit all over her, the crate & the rug.
Poor thing.
We've been working on crate training all weekend. So far, she's not a fan... this isn't going to help.
That's what my IRL friends are saying or Chilli, as in the pepper.
She loves playing in the snow. That's part of the reason I picked her name.

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
I've only had 2 other dogs in my life. Both were adopted when they were a little older & already had a name. My 1st dog's name was Useless. We felt so bad for him, we called him Use-E. The dog after him was the one that just passed. She was 2 when I adopted her, her name was Lady.
So, I was really excited to be able to name my dog this time but DH & I couldn't agree on anything. Well, it was more like I was suggesting tons of names & he wrinkled his face at every one of them. His top choice was Daisy. I thought that was just okay.
She was born around Thanksgiving, so I was initially trying to think of Turkey Day related names. I couldn't call her Turkey or Butterball (that's just mean... see Useless) & DH wouldn't call her Pumpkin. So I moved on from the Thanksgiving names.
When we've been bringing her out, she's been enjoying playing in the mountains of snow that we have. That's where Chilly came from.
I love my crazy child!

She has a couple litter mates left. You could come up & get one
One was a dark gray/blackish color & the other looked a lot like her but stockier.
