Um, for the most part. That was my thought too - which is why I approached Jody (sorry Jody, we do all know your name) via a PM about her bringing the drama offboard/to other platforms towards a certain Nestie, which IMO was not appropriate. Normally I don't pull the whole "MOD is me!" card (cause I never have to with this board), but I felt it was necessary. And I'm just sick of it. I personally can only tolerate certain shat for so long and I was tired of walking on eggshells.

Ditto, this is ridiculous. I completely side-eyed the comment about using her name as well, since she does this all the time. I didn't even know Kaz is also YJakel aka her real name until Musicheals (ha! no real names) put it in a post.
Seriously, thanks for letting me know who Kaz was, hahahaha. I totally missed that update!

I side-eyed the over-reaction too, but didn't say anything. And you know what, it's because like Stef said, I walk on eggshells when it comes to Jody. I have to say, I have tried really hard not to say bad things about Jody - I don't attack her, and sometimes I'm honest if I think she's being silly but I say it exactly like I would to a friend IRL. Then I stopped even doing that, because bringing up Jody in a conversation is like looking in a mirror and saying 'Candyman' three times.
I'm tired of this. I have tried to mitigate conversations that turned anti-Jody, I have stuck up for her and tried to justify her actions in the past, but it's just ridiculous. I hate seeing people gang up on her, but it's kind of expected when a person never posts except to over-react to comments and create drama out of nothing. I have tried to tell her to just ignore things and let them blow over, and instead she just dredges stuff up, constantly referencing it, and even posts half-a$$ed apologies that basically just blame everyone for being a b!tch. I'm done with that - sorry if whatever I've said in the past makes you not want to be my friend, Jody, but at this point I really don't care anymore.

On a side note, I had actually recently come to the conclusion in RL that I self-censor too much. I'm trying to break that habit and be true to myself. Also, I like how we've all hijacked this post.
Wow.....wish I didn't feel like such an a** for kind of starting this whole thing. I do apologize for how it all came out. I shouldn't have been all public forum and said that IRL I don't vibe with Jody. However what took place between her and I after wards made me feel like I wasn't so off the chart.
I honestly don't want to bash/talk about Jody anymore.....until she sees the errors of her ways. I've admitted when I was wrong.....publicly and otherwise--it's time i get the same treatment- is all I'm saying.

Ferdy, I know what you're saying. Even though I posted two paragraphs of how I'm sick of walking on eggshells, etc, I still don't want to see anyone attacked. I just feel like the whole FB drama (what little I know of it) is the last straw - if you don't get along with someone here, fine. Ignore them, call them out, pick your poison. But harassing them via facebook is a whole new level of instigating, IMO.
I still think that if Jody apologized (sincerely) and then stopped being so over-sensitive, people would let this go.

Seriously though, my whole point is that there's no need for drama...sure, it happens, but I feel that certain people (and I'm saying also IRL, not just here with Jody) can't live without it. And I'm sure at some point she'll read all of this and get upset with a bunch of us, esp. me and Rebecca, but I don't care. You want the drama? You got it. This is why I unfriended Jody on fb.
And please ladies, let's not get upset with each other, but only recognize that someone has been disrespecting our mod (and damnit, I love ya too much stef, I can't take it!).

I know we should be more cautious about the whole "on line identity" thing. But I think y'all are awesome so I don't really care if you know and use my real name.
Ferdz and Laura, your posts must have shown up after I started typing my last one, so I just want to say that I started this. I don't even know what happened with fb, but I was bothered by the way our mod was being treated with this post. It was never supposed to be a "bash Jody" post, and I don't think it is - I think it's just turned into a thread where people are finally expressing how they feel about Jody's attitude on the board, not necessarily her as a person. And beyond that, I think people would feel the same way about anyone who responded to a post like this and reacted the way she does most times. It's more that the behaviour is inappropriate for a board specifically designed to allow us to connect and make friends based on common ground.
And to Jody (or anyone else, really) - if you DO read this, and feel the need to get upset with someone, it should be me. I take on the responsibility and plan to say no more on the subject unless of course I am asked a reasonable question or someone else is attack for my decision to post.
I totally agree with this. I may have a long memory, but I also forgive easily.
