What do you have planned this weekend? What are you doing for the Super Bowl?
Tonight, I'm going to a mini baby shower. Still have to buy a present
Tomorrow afternoon, I have to teach. 50 teenagers... by myself.
Sunday, we're going to a friend's house to watch the game.

Re: Weekend Plans?
Yikes! Good luck!
Tonight - nothing!
Tomorrow night - out for my bff's 30th bday. we are going to a wine tasting place that also serves food! yes, we get crazier as we get older... LOL! The babies are sleeping over at my brother and sister-in-law's place. So we get a night and morning to ourselves!
Sunday - since the bears lost, the super bowl seems non-existent to me. we are just having some of our siblings over. we were invited places, but with the babies having a bedtime that would prevent us from staying for most, if not any, of the game, it's not worth it.
We're having a few people over on Sunday for the Superbowl. I'm getting my hair did on Sunday!!! YAY!
Tonight will be relax at the house, I'm so so tired and DH is driving to Naples in the morning.
Saturday it's just me all day, alone I think I'm going to veg out on the couch and read a book, we have been go go go lately and I'm pooped!
This afternoon is DH's "swearing in" ceremony at State. They keep changing the time and making it earlier b/c the Under Secretary that is supposed to give the keynote address has this super important reception at the White House to go to tonight. Kinda annoying.
Tomorrow we are going to a bar-b-que at the house of the guy that will be DH's boss in Riyadh. I hope I don't annoy him with all of the questions I have!
What happens in this ceremony? Too bad you couldn't join them at the white house, huh? lol.
That was nice of your H's new boss to invite you over. Kinda cold for a BBQ, isn't it?
Mom's boss is a jerk. She prepared 200+ invoices yesterday at rate X. She gave the invoices to her boss to sign. He said, "Oh, didn't I tell you that the rate for Service A is now X+Y plus Z%? You need fix these." After a huge fight, Mom called sobbing and said she could either (1) come visit and quit her job and live in my guest room forever or (2) stay today and tomorrow and get the work done, and then take time off ASAP. She prefers option 1, but realizes option 2 is the most practical.

Awww, stupid boss. That stinks. Poor mom.
Aegis- I wish you weren't so busy when you come up here! Maybe next time we can get together. Are you driving?
Tonight - work
Saturday - sleep and probably cleaning and watching a movie
Sunday - work
Are you jealous?
Tonight- Happy hour with my hubby & friends to celebrate his promotion at work, I even ordered him a cookie cake :-)
Tom- School work & shopping with my mom for bridal shower decor for my sister,
Sunday- Superbowl party at our friends house yay! Black n yellow.
Nothing tonight - probably order in dinner and watch something on our Netflix queue.
Tomorrow night we have tickets to see Idina Menzel in concert with the NY Philharmonic at Lincoln Center. I have been looking forward to this concert for MONTHS!
Sunday we're staying in to watch the Superbowl/Puppy Bowl. I don't particularly care about the Packers but I really dislike the Steelers, so Go Packers!
Any times we're not at concerts or watching football we'll be sorting through our crap, cleaning and packing for our move to Hoboken later this month. I'm trying to really purge before this move so we don't take a single unnecessary item with us. Closet space is at a premium!

I think this is just where he becomes "official" and is sworn into the foreign service. To be honest, I'm not really sure! I didn't want to be an unsupportive wife and skip it though.
Yes, it's definitely cold for a BBQ- and it's supposed to rain tomorrow too. I'm thinking it's probably going to be more of a come-over-for-lunch thing, but BBQ is a convenient thing to call it.
Good luck with your class of 50 teenagers tomorrow! That sounds intense!
If you see Taye Diggs, hump him for me.
I'm on it.
And by "it," I obviously mean Taye Diggs.

Tonight: Cleaning for mom to visit from up North! Not excited to clean but very excited for mom on Tuesday!
Saturday: Work at the Forum for the Bulls vs Syracuse game...extra income
Sunday: Watching the commercials...not a big fan of either team, so I'll support the NFL through the commercials!
Well, either way, enjoy the ceremony. Aren't you having your dinner party tonight? Or was that yesterday?
Thanks. I'm going to need all the luck I can get tomorrow, followed by a large drink. 15 of the 50 aren't my usual students, so that could potentially be a good or a bad thing. The rest of them 'should' know better...
Tonight: Going to see my nephew then dinner with family for moms birthday.
Saturday: 1 year old birthday party and then dinner with family/friends for moms birthday
Sunday: church and breakfast with family and then family friends house to watch the superbowl. I am not into football at all so I just go for the food and the commercials and of course the people.
This!!!!
I didn't know you were moving to Hoboken??? One of my best friends from college just moved there last summer when she got married and knows no one! Do you need a friend??
Tonight - nothing, I hope.
Tomorrow - going to a wedding. It's not in my language and it's a Jehovah's Witness wedding (which I am not). Should be interesting!
Sunday - as a Wisconsin girl, I should be doing the SB thing, but I've never cared a lot about football, so y'know, we're going to Disney. I do hope the Packers win because it'll make a lot of people I know very happy. I hope we make it back in time for Glee, though.
My silly Lily is almost 4.

Sure! I'm always up for meeting new friends!
If she wants to, have her find me on FB, or if you want I can PM you my personal email address to pass along. We're moving over there on the 22nd of this month!

Sounds good! I'll let her know... why are you moving?
I hope it is a boring weekend. I would like to stay home and get our closets and cabinets organized. H and DD might not like that so much so we will most likely end up at BG or SW Sat.
Just to save money. They raised our rent on our current apartment, and although we could afford to stay, it's just pretty financially stupid to do so. My husband hates his job and is hoping to make a major career change soon, so we want to really build up our savings so we have a cushion to give him more freedom to do whatever he wants when the time to change comes. Moving out of Midtown Manhattan is a very easy way to start saving some money!
And Hoboken is really cute, and still super convenient to the city, so it will be good. I'm sad to leave Manhattan though!

Tonight- absolutely no plans, thank goodness.
Saturday- 1 year old bday party. Luckily it's next door, and open house style so I can dip out whenever I'm tired of the chaos, since from the sounds of it, there are going to be a ton of people. No plans for the evening, again thank goodness.
Sunday- having a few friends over for SB. Had the Patriots been playing, we would've had an actual party (we usually have one every year) but instead we are keeping it very lowkey. My lame, very tired pregnant self is pretty grateful for this.
