::waves at Maine board:: Hello, intro
I post on thebump pretty regularly, and just noticed the Maine board on thenest. I wanted to introduce myself to you ladies, and see if any of you are in my area.
I'm simplejude, I live in Bangor. I'm not really a newb, but this is a newer SN because my old one had my real last name in it. I was born and raised in Presque Isle but have lived in Bangor for a little over 2 years now. I have an almost 11 month old DD, and a 3.5 year old DS. I SAH right now, but I'm going back to school next month.
Re: ::waves at Maine board:: Hello, intro
Welcome! Your kids are cute!
I live with my husband and puppy about 30 min from Bangor in the Newport area. Originally from NY and have been in Maine for 8 years. I work in Marketing.
What are you going back to school for?
Does this mean that the ME Bump board is active? It's weird to think of a Maine board out there that's not us....
Im going for Cosmetology. I think its something that I will really enjoy, and it is a short course (less than a year) with little homework, so it will be easier on the kids.
There is a whole lot of nothing on that board. A lot of the posts there go unanswered, so I was really happy when I stumbled across this board!
Welcome! I was also raised in the County. Living in TN now but hope to move back to ME someday!
This board has it's days when it's quiet but overall we are pretty active....and I think we decided as a group, a long time ago, that this board will be for all things...baby and not baby.
I'm Jess and I live in Augusta with my DD Taylor and DH Chris. I'm from the Bangor area and DH is from an island off the coast. We have two dogs and a cat. Feel free to say whatever is on your mind! Welcome!
I moved to OK for a while right after highschool (DH was stationed at Fort Sill for a year) and then I lived in NH for a short time as well. No place like home. The people are just different here.
Welcome!
I am Kristin, I live with my DH and our twins Jack and Keaghan in Springvale.
Hi!
I am also from The County, now live in Pittsfield with MH, no kids; no pets
I clicked over, looks like there is more action than there has been. They have a full page of posts, some with double digit replies. They used to have a page of like 3 posts and 1 was usually one of us telling people to come over! I'll think I'll extend another invite.
edit: posted there, then saw Jackie's invite! oh well, not deleting.
Hi! I'm Laura - I live in Portland with my H and our cat, Gracie. I'm still newish to the area (moved from NY in July) and the boards, but everyone is sweet and welcoming.
Cute kids!
Marcus is handsome, and I love his name. Very cute.
Your siggy is so sweet and "All American" looking. In a good way! You look young, how old are you, if you dont mind me asking. I will be 24 this coming week.
Thank you! Yours are adorable too - Amelia was our girl name.
Hello! I'm Kimberly. I live in Sanford with DH, my 2 year old DD, and my ornery cat Henry. I'm a SAHM.
I grew up in VA and moved to Maine for a job and change of pace almost 9 years ago. DH is a native Mainer from the Freeport area. This year will be my and DH's 5 anniversary.
I am late to the game, but wanted to say welcome.
I live in Saco with my DH and twin boys.
Welcome!!! My name is Maeghan and I live in Kennebunkport with my husband, daughter and our pets. I'm currently a stay at home mom. I moved to Maine almost 6 years ago from South Carolina and but was born and lived on Long Island, NY until I was 10.
Welcome to our group!

Hi and welcome!!
I'm Jacki, no DH (I got divorced, but didn't want to give up the Nest lol), living in Lisbon Falls with my little critters Sprout (dog) and Oakley (cat). Nice to have you here!
I love Geaghans! Best nachos ever! Congrats on the pregnancy.
