Good news!
I had did my full body scan yesterday and got the good news today that the radioactive iodine only showed up in my neck where there was residual thyroid tissue which was expected and nowhere else which means the cancer hadn't spread at all. It's a relief, and now my only treatment going forward is taking my thyroid med and having annual bloodwork to check thyroglobin levels (which should be at zero now that I have no thyroid; if they went up I'd have to do the radioactive iodine again). Thank you guys for all your good thoughts and nestie juju
