I'm in my jammies. So far I've only had toast and coffee. I know I need more, but don't feel like getting up to get it... and don't want what we have in the house.
Really, I'd love to go shopping for new running clothes. But that would require getting dressed and doing my hair.

We don't really have any plans. I guess I'll be doing laundry.
"I" (aka my mother) volunteered to decorate for the Valentine's Day dinner at our church on Saturday. Well, I never attend church, so I guess it's my mom's church.
Then, "I" volunteered to work the dinner once decorating is done. Weee.
Sunday we are hosting Noa's 3rd birthday party at our house. Hopefully I won't have to do too much "work" for that.
If all goes well, we will be putting an offer in on a house. ::fingers crossed::

We aren't doing much this weekend but on Monday we are having an energy audit done on our house through WMEAC and Better Buildings. They are interviewing us and filming it. Very interested to see how it all goes.
Anyone else have this done?
It has been a long week. Tonight I have an unexpected PR party tonight to do for a friend's sister. Other than that, nothing planned for Saturday other than staying in jammies and watching movies. Sunday just got to meet with the candle lady to close my candle party out. I was able to get so many goodies

Our (old?) bonus program only allowed us to ever get a 10% bonus...I guess they threw that out the window! Sweet!!!

Welcome. very cool about the energy audit. I would love to have one done. Are they using the infraed camera. That would be cool (or sad) to see all the spots we are losing energy in our house.
Are you in the neighborhood that has received a grant to get a free energy audit and money to make repairs. I'm hoping they do this in my hood soon.

We went out last night for a couple beers - you just can't beat the Meanwhile's 1/2 off Michigan microbrews deal on Thursdays. $3 for a pint of Hopslam? Yes please.
No big plans this weekend, I've been on an airplane the past 2 weekends and next weekend is a road trip to Chicago so I need a weekend at home. We're taking the parents out tonight and have a broomball clinic on Sunday (anyone is welcome to come for free! :-) ) but other than that I'm going to relax!

We are in the neighborhood that has the grant money. Hopefully they deem the program a success and it is expanded. I am already cringing at the results, as I know our 1915 house is super leaky.

I need to be in the office more....the kicker is that I had my hours cut from 32 to 28 in Jan. So now, not only did I loose pay, I have to pay for an extra day of daycare.
With Brian still being "new" in his firm and being the only GR employee, i don't want to look elsewhere and then put myself being in the position of being first hired, first to go. We always worry in the back of our mind that they would tell him one day that they don't want a GR office anymore. Most likely that wouldn't happen, but I think we are still tramuatized from his layoff last October.
Jealous! I really hope they expand this program.

We had a showing on our house in flint yesterday, our realtor said the guy seemed pretty interested in the house and was planning to make a cash deal if it all goes through - we are just praying the bank accepts the offer and a short sale, because it is going to sell for A LOT less than what we owe

Yup, one big bite.
Barring anyone getting cold feet we are scheduled to close mid march. We had the inspection on Monday, and the appraiser is due here any minute.
