  • Welcome Hoek.

Mira: HAve you seen the adds for Pajama pants. If not you have to google it.

D&M: Woo WHoo. I've never gotten a bonus but it has to be exciting to get money you didn't plan on.

GVSU: Sorry about the work place stuff.

    Wop: I like the owls

I have a butt load of paper samples and wood samples left over at the office from the owner of the floors. I think he is just going to through all of it away. I wish I could find some sort of use for them.

I think I want to make cupcakes tomorrow.  Anyone have an awesome recipe?  Maybe some filled cupcakes?

Yup, one big bite. :)  Barring anyone getting cold feet we are scheduled to close mid march.  We had the inspection on Monday, and the appraiser is due here any minute.

That's awesome! Congratulations on getting that off your back.

  • It's been a rough couple of days.

Got up yesterday, let my pug outside to go potty. She went potty, ran around. Let her back in, then headed off to Hudsonville to go look at a car with my husband. Came home, saw that she went to the bathroom in her crate, cleaned it up, put her back in because I needed to get some errands run, made a plan to give her a bath when I got home.

Ran my errands, came home, put groceries away, got water in for the dishes, put my 2yo in front of Princess and the Frog, went to let Emmy out, and she had died while we were gone. :( Her health has been declining the last few weeks. She was 13 years old, 11 spent with me. I had been planning on putting her to sleep if she didn't bounce back this time. I am pretty sure she knew how hard it was for me to make that decision, so she made it for me. My dad came and picked her up from me yesterday, and took her to my parent's house to bury her with all the other childhood pets from the last 20 years that have died.

As for the weekend. Tonight, a friend is bringing over her car for my husband to look at. So it will probably just be a TV night. Tomorrow, cleaning up bedrooms. My stepdaughter will be here, so we are moving our 2yo and her in together. So I can get our 6mo old into her own bed. Our room isn't big enough for a crib. And my 2yo is a light sleeper. Plus when she is up, she is up. Which isn't fun when the baby gets up at 4am to eat. Once the baby sleeps through the night, if we haven't moved into a larger house, the little girls will move back together, and the oldest will have her own room again.

Then Sunday, a friend is watching the two little girls, and DH and I are going out to eat for Valentine's Day. We couldn't find a sitter for Valentine's Day itself, so we are going after he gets out of work Sunday night. Then Monday we are having heart shape pizza with the girls to celebrate!
