TGIT! I wish today's and tomorrow's temps would be the weekend temps, but alas it's not to be.
I punked out of hausfrauing last night. I went to the library and picked up books. I changed and then finished my book while MFD made dinner. We ate and watched CSI on DVR. I packed my gym bag and lunch, laid out today's clothes, wiped down the kitchen, picked up a bit and did a load of blankets. MFD snoozed on the couch. I watched Gossip Girl on DVR and Criminal Minds in real time.
We were in bed by 10:30 and I was in work at 7:30 this morning to finish this icehole project, which I need to upgrade all of my software to do. Rage.

stephanie, you do more housework than anyone i know. i HATE coming home on a week night and having to clean/do laundry/etc. i will cook and clean up from that and OCCASIONALLY i will do laundry. that's it.
had stomach cramps/some queasiness last night and this morning, not sure if it the stomach bug that ger, my mom, and two of my coworkers had or if it is just my GERD. at work regardless. office is dead, only me here today.
i cant believe its only thursday...this is ridic.

I gotta ditto shauni here. You are like super-wife. I feel horribly inadequate next to you. Okay, I'm over it.
Feel like a new lady after my cut/color yesterday - was desperately in need of it. Then made an early dinner, and K and I went shopping. We replaced the bedroom tv (I went to turn it off last week and when I hit the button I shocked it/it shocked me and hasn't worked since) and used a couple of Walmart giftcards so it was on sale + more off = super deal. We also bought dressers for the nursery - to be picked up next week! Will most definitely be painting on sunday now so we can move them right in. So happy that it is finally coming together.
Yeah I'm usually a lazy bum during the week. I cook and Jeremy cleans the kitchen. I'll usually do a couple/few loads of laundry, if needed and/or I'm in the mood.
My super short hair cut (from Saturday) is slowly growing on me but I'll be glad when it's about 2 inches longer. I was up half the night (why??) I have no idea. I didn't fall asleep til after 2 and my alarm went off at 6:15. I fell right back asleep until Jeremy's alarm (which I'm about to shoot because he has it on the MOST ridamndiculous sound) went off and I jumped in the shower.
I think my weekend trip to Jax, FL will be cancelled since my bff is sick and so am I. Lovely kids passing their germs to us. Booo
I have always been uber productive and time efficient. No need to feel bad ladies! I know I am a loon about this stuff.
Shauni, sorry you are possibly ill from the gross stomach bug that seems to be invading every corner of our fair land.

Agree! I have no idea how you get that much housework done. It takes so much effort for me to make dinner and clean up the kitchen afterward. There may or may not be a uncleaned crock pot with remnants last nights dinner still sitting on the counter.
I know why this week is going so slow. I have off on Monday for President's Day and the universe decided to torture me (and everyone else) by making the week go extremely slow.
I'm cranky with my accounting teacher. I emailed her for help on a problem, she responded, I made the changes and then submitted the problem. She marked the answer she gave me as wrong. I emailed her about it and she said "Oh, sorry I gave you the wrong information. But since its still wrong your grade can't be changed." Uh thanks for nothing, lady!

I cannot believe that it's only Thursday...why is this week dragging so bad? I woke up thinking it was Friday...I got really unhappy when I realized it was on Thursday.
Last night wasn't that amazing...I did a load of laundry, changed our sheets, reheated leftovers for dinner from monday, finished up the apple pie I made for Don, and then we watched shows on Hulu.
Tonight Don's going over to put in a new sink for his Dad and fix something on his car too...he's gotta fix my brake light too if he remembers! Looks like it'll be pizza for dinner whenever Don finishes and gets home.
On a happy note, Don took the whole first weekend in March off from work...his Dad wants them to go to a tattoo show that's in our area. At least Don said that he'd take me to see a movie, yay! <- that never happens! What's even better is yesterday I had to do an Office Depot order for work (my contact there and I get along super well)...she's sending me 2 free movie passes and $5 consession cash just because...SCORE! It made my whole day...now Don has no excuse NOT to take me to see a movie that weekend he's off from work!
Major score on free movie tickets, since it costs the same amount to go to the movies as it does to raise a child for a year. Sweet!!!!!!!
I have a major ball of stress in my upper right shoulder. I am definitely contemplating a birthday month massage.

Thank God it's Thursday! Yesterday was brutal. I don't think I sat at my desk for more than 15 min all day. I seriously, seriously contemplated calling in sick today, but I always feel extremely guilty when I call out sick. So here I am. Please God, let this day go quickly so I can get home to beer and Jersey Shore!
Its an online class and trying to find someone at the college is next to impossible. I'm letting it go because overall it doesn't affect my grade by anything significant. Tell me if this makes any sense.
Its a 4 part problem, so you'd assume that each part is worth 25%, right? Well, the wrong information she gave me was for part 3. She told me that regardless I still wouldn't get full credit because I didn't total a column in part 2. You'd think this would mean that I'd get 50% on that question. Instead I got 70%. How in the world that adds up, I don't know but it's just not worth the effort to argue with her over email. If it happens again I will though.

I'm here, but so swamped at work that I don't even know where to start. And it's raining, yuck!
Hope I can vent for a minute. H and I are arranging at trip to PA this summer to see his grandma (and family generally), and I wanted to go to Hershey Park, since I've never been and she lives close by. We talked to his family about it several times, told them we were planning to come over 4th of July and wanted to go to the park, and nobody said anything. Now that we just bought our plane tickets, they said it'll be too busy at the park then. Well, get the d%f* over it! They basically were like, meh, we'll go when it's not so busy, but thanks. That was not the question, but thank you. Grr. I told H I'm going to be mad about it for a day, and then drop it. Also, since we're hoping to be PG by then anyway, it wouldn't matter as I wouldn't go on the rides, but still, it's the principle of the thing.
I'm at work, already bored and it's only 10:12am. I really have nothing to do today, but we have people from corporate coming in today so I will have to be here all day. I am looking forward to Jersey Shore and Grey's tonight!! I have to majorly cleaned my kitchen, it looks discusting. I have dishes in there (that are rinsed) from the weekend. Our roomate is leaving tomorrow out of town and won't be back until Monday. So I am going to do a heavy cleaning while shes gone. And I walked into H's closet yesterday and there are clothes over flowing his baskets, it smells like his work clothes, and is just plain dirty. So I need to get that under control. Thats why I avoid his closet at all costs!!
Doesn't she specify how much each part is worth? Seems like that would be logical if all parts aren't equal. I agree w/ Alicia that the prof shouldn't be penalizing you for her own fark up. But, if you got more points than you thought you'd get, you don't want her to lower your grade.
steph - nursery is either going to be yellow or green - I got samples yesterday so we can paint patches & pick. The crib is ash and the dressers are a blond wood, so I'm thinking the green will probably work better. The bedding looks like this:
mushe - hersey park is a lot of fun. i was there probably close to 10 yrs ago and loved it! i def. recommend still going...screw them, they'll miss out on all the fun!

MushE - Inlaws are aholes. I love Hershey Park. We were there the day we found out we got our house. And we saw Bruce that night in Hershey Park stadium. It was a superior day all around.

The project I came in to do at 7:30? Nothing's been done. 11:53. Major clusterfart with software and upgrades and pure BS. I am in PMS rage. Luckily I have my tough as nails gym class soon so that will take a lot of the anger out of me since I will be a quivering mess when it's over.
I did buy tickets to the Sunday game of Phils' opening weekend though, so, bright spot.

Steph - I HATE getting in early to be productive and not getting anything done. We just got upgraded to Windows 7 this week, so Tuesday was a waste of a day for me. I could barely log on and use stuff I needed. Why the crap couldn't they have just left stuff alone? I hope the gym gets the rage out and then you can be super productive this afternoon.

I am being especially unproductive at work today. For no good reason. I kinda just don't want to be here. I CAN work from home, but I don't want to do it too much.
I've decided that I hate all internet message boards except for this one. I've sporadically posted on some of the international boards here and I've posted on a lot of hockey related boards. People just get so immature and confrontational. The most annoying part is that I know some of the people from the hockey boards and they'd never say anything like what they do IRL. Grr.
I have a fair amount of work to do. I should get on that.
