I remember how excited everyone was about this movie when it came out. . .I think I was a freshman in high school. DH is out playing poker with his buddies, so I'm playing on the computer, planning our Ireland trip. The Titanic stopped at Cobh, Ireland, before it set sail for New York. Cobh is scheduled to be one of our stops, because it is also where DH's grandparents left for New York when they moved to the US.
Before this, I watched Serendipity (love John Cusack), and Dirty Dancing. What's everyone's favorite guilty pleasure movie?
Re: titanic on abc family
When are you going to Ireland??
This summer (late July - early August). Summer isn't my most ideal time, but I work in a school and get a month off during the summer every year. We're going to London, Dublin, Cork, Castletownbere (the small town my DH's family is from), and other as-yet-unidentified places.
We are going in May and I can't wait.. We are flying into Dublin and driving to Galway, Dingle, Cork and Kilkenny. Of course we will be stoping at other place on the way to each..
I Have been to London if you have any questions.
I tell you renting a car in Ireland has been the biggest pain.
Definitely tell me how the car thing goes. We really don't want to rent a car, but we're not sure if we can go all of the places we want to go on the train/bus system, especially with all of our luggage.
But I've been researching rental cars, and the costs (and the gas!) seem outrageous.
