My Wednesday is okay so far. Looking forward to American Idol tonight. Doing 2 loads of laundry...hehehe, laundrypalooza. That's pretty much it for tonight.
Shauni, I'm with you about feeling like crud. Why is it so freaking hard to lose weight? It's not like I stuff my face with fast food 24-7. And why is my husband so darn thin and can eat anything he wants and not gain an ounce?!?!
There are a ton of black NWT bags on eBay that I was stalking. I had to sort through them - a lot are only 'buy now' and the price wasn't good enough IMO - but there were about ten that I put on my watch list and was waiting to swoop in at the last second. Many got higher than I wanted, so it definitely takes patience, but it just might pay off for you! I was only looking at Coach (I needed to narrow it down somehow) but if you just sort by NWT, color, and price you are bound to find something!
Deal! Sidenote: this morning on the news they were reporting live from Annapolis and a flashy green sports car drove by and it made me think of you.
Have you had luck buying these bags on eBay? I tried buying a Gucci bag a few years back and was told that it was "authentic" let me tell you, it was a knock off. I was pissed, but I only paid about $100 so what did I expect. I was able to return it because the seller guaranteed that it was authentic and it was not.
jedaniel--this is my favorite soup and it is so easy (30 minutes total):
chop up some onion (1/2), some carrots (1), and put in the bottom of a big pot with some EVOO and a bay leaf. then throw in some ground spicy turkey sausage (2 links worth) and some bit sized pieces of potato (i usually do one potato. if you do not want potato, tortellini works too, but do not put it in until the VERY end) let it cook and get soft and the sausage can get brown and all broken up. then add in a lot of kale (or spinach of kale scares you) and then pour in chicken broth to cover the soup. and salt and pepper and let it come to a boil. then reduce heat and let it simmer for however long you want--i usually go take a shower or do the laundry or something. then at the very end, stir in a handful of real grated parmesan cheese and serve!
or, here is the easiest one alive: in a large pot, pour in 2 cans of drained black beans, a lot of chicken stock, a container of fresh salsa, some S&P and maybe a little cumin and/or chili powder. let it cook for about 20 minutes or so at a simmer and then use an immulsian blender or a regular blender and blend up the soup in batches until desired. 25 minute, 3 ingredient black bean soup!

Debdeb - this is actually the first bag I've bought on eBay, but I've bought shoes and clothes before. I don't trust someone who just says it's authentic - if I'm paying good money, I make sure it's NWT (new with tags) and that the pictures clearly show the tags and all of the other marks (depending on the brand). If it shows up without that, then I would have every right to return it and get my money back, since they listed it falsely.

Stephm-Sorry you're sick. I channeled your healthy self last night by doing a load of laundry, a load of dishes, washing my car, making dinner, making a protein shake from yummy fruits, watching 2 hrs of biggest loser, walking the pugface and playing games on the iPod (instead of reading). Whew! I'm exhausted from typing all that. Don't know how you do it on a nightly basis. There will be no repeat of these activities this evening
