Who has your vote for best dressed at the Oscars? Worst dressed?
Re: QOTD - Monday 2/28
Mila Kunis & Helen Mirren were gorgeous.
WTF was Nicole Kidman wearing? A potato sack would've been more flattering. & Helena Bonaham Carter? But then again, she never tries.
Best:
Anne's red red carpet dress
Halle (tulle train and all)
Hilary Swank
Worst:
Nicole Kidman
Cate Blanchett
Annnnnd Mark Ruffalo's wife
I loved Mila Kunis. There were plenty of fails but the one that really bugs me doesn't seem to bother anyone else...or they're just not saying anything. So here I go.
If you lose a significant amount of weight, and started out with large breasts, they do NOT look the same after. You usually have to support them a little more since they won't fill out dresses/clothes the same way and will look funny. Apparently no one has told Jennifer Hudson this because this is the second time I've seen her on a red carpet and thought "ewww, her boobs look weird." It's driving me nuts. I know it's stupid that I care so much but come on! Look in a damn mirror! Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
"My 101 List - Updating asap, I swear!
Even with Mila's pasties?
Her boobs were SO lopsided on the red carpet. I couldn't stop looking at them! When she presented, someone had fixed them luckily and at least shoved them back into her armpits. lol
I'm so glad someone else noticed. They were better when she was presented but still looked funky. I said something out loud and DH goes "oh thank goodness, I thought they looked terrible but didn't say anything because I know she lost all that weight and was trying to be a nice person."
Are those pasties or just lace edging on the dress?
Best: Sandra Bullock, Anne's Red Red Carpet Dress, Hillary Swank
Worst: Cate Blanchett, J-Hud's Boobs, Florence's Red Carpet Dress (lay off the beige already!), Nicole Kidman - especially the shoes, Reese Witherspoon (wore that dress to Sophomore Homecoming)
Scarlett Johannsen was a
*sigh*
I always want to like her, but she makes it so damn hard.
I have no desire to like her. None. At all. She annoys me.
YES. Her hair was out.of.control.
I aaaaaaaaaaaaalmost liked Scarlett Johannsen's.
I think Mila looked dreadful, personally.
I thought she looked really pretty and I like the idea of the dress... if it were two inches higher without the lace pasties sticking out.
ITA. I have never been a fan of hers. I don;t think she can act & in general she just really annoys me. Everyone CD & LB had on their lists were my favs for best dressed.
My votes for best: Halle Berry, Mila Kunis, Anne's red dress for the carpet
Honorable mentions: Gwyneth's dress and whole look really grew on me, Sandra Bullok as most improved from her last red carpet disaster look
My votes for worst: Florence, Cate Blanchett
Could have been better: Amy Adams without the necklace, something must be done with Annette Bening's hair
I have to add that I'm so glad The Kids Are All Right didn't win anything. I would like those two hours of my life back, please.
I wish her dress had been two shades lighter or darker. I hate when dresses almost exactly match the skin tone.
Honestly, I really didn't watch too much of the Oscars. I remember seeing Scarlett J present and the only thing I could think of was WTF was up with her hair?
Also, didn't like Reese's dress but did like her hair.
I can see that. It was just nice to see a teen dressed like a teen & not a slutbucket.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
