Can you believe it's the last day of February? One-sixth of 2011 is over!
So what does everybody have coming up in March? What are you looking forward to that's fun and exciting?
Re: Looking ahead to March
I've been looking forward to March for a long time...I am looking forward to feeling good again. And looking forward to looking more pregnant, and less blob-like. Excited to start our childbirth prep classes, and to get the house/rooms painted and prepped and furniture bought for baby.
Tea Time for Lulu
I know!
Let's see....
My mom's birthday is the 22nd and my sister's is the 29th
Oh and I am going to Chicago the weekend of the 25th. It is a GTG with some gals from my anniversary board! My first trip w/o DH!!
I signed up with a trainer for the month of March (I start next Monday) and I will meet with her 1-2x a week. I am looking forward to it!!!
ooohhh, I am jealous. DH and I have not been to a game all season. We are saving ourselves for the Stanley Cup playoffs!
My parents are having a 50th wedding anniversary party at Manresa on the 12th, and my sisters are coming. I am both excited for and dreading this night.
We are going to see Cirque de Soleil also, so I am pretty stoked for that.
I'm looking forward to my best friend and another friend from Boston both visiting the Bay Area in the middle of the month - excited to see and hang out with them both. I'm also looking forward to a day off I have coming up later this month, when I'm hoping to get down to Santa Cruz.
Oh, and I'm excited that Daylight Saving Time begins in a couple of weeks!
Fun! I've always wanted to see Cirque de Soleil.
Why are you dreading yours parents' 50th anniversary party? btw, Manresa is sooo good.
I am looking forward to my baby shower in March. I haven't seen some of the women that are attending in a while and it should be a lot of fun. We also begin our childbirth classes next month which should be interesting.
I am hoping that we have some nice weather in March as well because the recent cold weather is miserable. I am totally ready for springtime!
I am so excited for the spring and I can't wait to be warm. I am so tired of being cold and having reptilian skin. This winter has whooped me.
I'm looking forward to my birthday on the 14th and for our 12 week u/s next week! I'm so excited to see our little bean.
My family has a 50/50 shot of getting along. The party & weekend will either be wonderful, or there will be criticism, tears, yelling, and a bunch of BS that I don't feel like dealing with. I for one, am hoping for the first option. I think if my sisters start in, then I will just seclude myself with DH and focus on the amazing meal that I am lucky enough to enjoy.
On a side note, my parents have known the chef at Manresa since he was born & his parents will also be in attendance at the party. They moved across the country with my mom & dad in the 60's together with a few other friends.
P, can I tell you that "just to Kyoto" makes me soooooo jealous!
my mom's birthday in the 2nd. Dh is the 19th & my brother is the 23 so alot of birthdays coming up!
Also the 19th me & dh may be going to See Kevin Smith & Jason Mewes in SF. We having gotten tickets get but Im hopping to order them in the next week or so & surprise DH!
Also i need to find somebody to watch DD.
Oh my gosh, you reminded me. March 18th will be 10 years since I met T.
I'm looking forward to warmer weather and getting together with friends. I've got a few of those dates coming up:
-investment cooking with MIL and SIL
-Girly get together with my SF friends
-Kinder Reunion with my old kinder colleagues.
Having moved into our house in the dead of winter, I'm really eager to see all the trees and plants in our yard bloom. I want to know what those trees are!
Plus removing wallpaper, painting, getting furniture -- so much fun stuff!
My birthday is the 17th so I'm excited for that. We should be closing and moving into our house by the end of the month so that makes March even better.
My Mom Blog My Writing Blog
My first 5K is on the 12th! I'm very excited!
I also have a girl's night out in a few weeks, which will be lots of fun.
I suppose we'll probably start our seeds soon too. Maybe at the end of March...
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Leolyns, our 13 year dating anniversary is on the 13th.
My b-day is on the 11th.
As mentioned above our 13 year dating and engageaverary (is that even a word) 13th.
We're meeting with a lender and realtor to discuss possibility of purchasing a home on the 19th.
Looking forward to warmer weather.
I'm throwing my BFF's bridal shower this weekend so I get to go home for that. We get to start work on nursery furniture if we can get a sunny weekend. H will be back to working full time so that will be nice!
Overall it should be a much better month than February!
I'm not liking March so far. <section deleted>
However, I'm looking forward to spring, and enjoying our backyard more when the weather will warm out.
