Well, I'm Tisha. I am 34 and enjoy long walks on the beach.
LMAO!
But seriously, here are some truly random facts about me: I'm 34 and have been with my HUSBAND (hee!) for over 11 years now. We were married on our 10th anniversary, 10-15-2010. My favorite color is purple. I'm scared of clowns. I am a cat person. I'm an only child. I'm pretty lazy and sort of selfish. I'm short and fat, and I'm ok with that. When I was a kid, my family dentist told me that hard-core braces would be the only thing to fix my crooked as hell teeth, because, as he said, I have my mothers GIANT teeth, in my dad's little-bitty mouth. Keith also has crooked teeth, so our children are DOOOOOMED! I like sweet tea and diet coke. I say "puh-cawn" and never "pee-can" and I use the word "y'all" a lot.
Now tell us about you!
Missing our little turkey.

I'll play:
I'm 24 as is my DH. We were married on 10.16.10, our 11-yr dating anniversary (Woo Tisha!). We live in Chicago, are Cubs fans, and have an English Bulldog named Oscar. I like to run, cook, and bake. I'm running my first marathon 10/9. I'm a Mechanical Engineer. My favorite color is pink and my all-time fav. to-go movie is You've Got Mail. I like "Party in the USA" but can't stand Miley Cyrus...but I do like the Kardashians. I'm also allergic to vicadin and zyertec. Whaa??

Well my name is Heather. Some things about me:
My favorite color is purple. I love to sing and play instruments
) I have a love for baking, but seldom do it due to lack of time and energy. I love stuffed animals and still sleep with them. I really enjoy card and board games.
I may be one of those new faces... I was fairly active on TK, and then made the switch to Nest, but have not been around since Thanksgiving.
I'm Megan, hubby is Steve.

He is 28 and I will be as well next month.
We got married on our third dating anniversary (10-10-10).
We met when he was the roommate of a guy I was dating (otherwise known as psycho ex - Steve helped me get a restraining order against the guy because he was stalking me).
We were best friends, then "fake dated" (we tole the ex that we were dating so he would leave me alone... it didn't work), then about 2 months later we started dating for real.
We have one fur baby, our adorable 2 1/2 year old Bichon Frise, Kiku. Here is a pic I look of him last week:
I work in Accounts Receivable, Steve is a Cook.
I was in marching band for 5 years (started in 8th grade), playing the clarinet.
Other instruments I played in high school/college: contra bass clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, some flute
I have one sibling, a younger brother, who got married 01/01/10. His wife's name is also Megan. So my family had to Megan Jenkins' for 10 months. It was very confusing.
Steve is an only child, he was adopted at 3 months old from South Korea. His mom was Korean, his dad American.
Steve's mom passed away before I met him, and I don't know if she would like me or not (mainly because I'm a whitey)
If you want to know anything else, just ask!

Any questions?

My name is Xandrea (the X is pronounced like a Z) but I prefer to be called Xan just because it's easier for people to understand it seems. I've been born and raised in Frederick MD and have no intentions of ever moving away from this area. My husband, Jason, and I met online during the summer of 2003 and met 9 months later in person. March 12th marks our 7 year anniversary of meeting in person/having our first kiss, and we were married October 9th, 2010. We have two cats, my cat is named Bruce and is orange with long hair, his cat is Sweetheart who is a black/brown tabby with short hair; our cats mean more to us than 99% of people. I love the Orioles and the Redskins even though they never win. I like to cook, but hate to bake, but love to decorate baked goods. My parents divorced when I was 12, but my Mom and Dad are stilll really close and my Dad and StepDad have a great friendship too. I am one of 8 kids, 2 full, 2 half, and 3 step siblings. I like to read and am a big reality TV fan. I am OBSESSED with the TV show Roseanne; I own all 9 seasons on DVD yet still watch it whenever I see it on TV. Mexican is my favorite type of food and I hate seafood. Anything else, just ask!
My name is Jolyne I'm 23 (24 in May) and DH is Justin he's 24. We met in 2003 at a Scout camp I worked first-aid and security at and have been together ever since. We love traveling being outdoors, we often go for walks in the trails near our house and go on weekend camping trips once a month. We got married 10.16.10. We live in Windsor, Ontario with our 3 year old cat named Baby. We got her from a shelter when she was 11 months old and kept the name as it suited her, she's tiny and loves to be right beside us at all times and cries when we are not around.
I am currently in the Philippines launching a new campaign for the company I work for back home. Aside from moving 12 hours away for College this is really the first time that DH and I have been apart. We both work for the same company but he holds a different position than I and he was not needed out here this time around. This is my second trip out here but I am struggling as this is a new position for me and I am finding it hard to explain things to them and use examples that they can relate to.
If you want more you'll just have to ask

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermIm Stacee, and hubby is Mike We were married on 10-10-10. I'm 22 and hubby is 27 were both have a birthday coming up in June. I love to cook and bake, love being in the kitchen! I don't have a favorite color. cause I'm lame like that. hubby works on flight management systems, and as of right now I work at a dry cleaner. I'm not sure what I want to be when I 'grow' up so school is still in my future some day ( I hope I can make up my mind soon before I'm OLD)
I'm a Halloween Baby too!
I'm 23yr old-old married lady (seriously). DH is Brandon he is 31yrs old. We met online on two different sites and we also met in a bar. It took us over a month to realize we were all the same people in all places. Since then we decided it was fate. We were engaged at the end of July 2010 and married on 10-10-10. We live in Northern Arizona and were married in the woods.
Any questions?
I didn't realize there was any one else here from Arizona!!
Yes ma'am! I posted a reply to something else you posted when you said you were in Tucson. There was another girl who was from the Phoenix area- but I haven't seen her on either board since Nov.
Shows how much i pay attention huh!
Hi! I'm Eeva (pronounced eh-va or ay-va--both are ok, just not EeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEeeeeeeeee-va for goodness sake). I'm 28, from somewhere-in-the-middle-of-nowhere southwestern Ontario, Canada, and married to Matt from somewhere-in-the-middle-of-nowhere northeastern Pennsylvania, USA. I'm Finnish-Canadian (dual citizenship, booyah!), and he is some mishmash of w.a.s.p. deliciousness. We met over skype, of all things. I was living and studying in Helsinki at the time. It was 2005, and I had downloaded skype to talk to my parents. A day after my download, I got my first and only random skype phone call from this dude from Pennsylvania. I didn't know random people could skype you, so I assumed he knew a friend of mine. I soon realised he was a complete stranger, but kept him on anyway. We started talking almost every day and, long story short, we're married now.
We lived in Japan for two years teaching English while we waited for his permanent residency to come through for Canadian immigration purposes. Now we're back in Canada--he's going to join the police academy soon, and I'm studying museum artefact conservation and restoration (I say artefact, but really I work with intangible and tangible cultural property).
Pleased to meet you!
I'm glad this thread worked out so well! Thanks for teaching me about you!!!
My name is Ashley, I'm 26 (27 in August) DH is Jeremy He's 28 (29 in September). We live near RI in MA right now. I grew up just before the cape in a beautiful seaside town. I met Jeremy in 2005 as a Senior at Fitchburg State where I got my Bachelors in Psych. He was graduated and living near campus working at a local car dealership and spending time with his fraternity still, and my sorority was very close with his fraternity. (funny enough he had seen my profile on a yahoo dating site i had joined as a joke, and had send me his profile....i called my sisters and was like "im a match with jeremy from sig tau!"and we laughed about it) There was a party one night....and the combination of dancing on a coffee table, him asking my sisters for dating recommendations, and his persistant calls and the rest is history!
We've been together almost 6 years, got engaged on his birthday in 2008, and married 10/10/10. Lengthy engagement was to get me to finish my masters in K-12 school guidance counseling prior to our wedding. We have no furbabies unfortunately (our place doesnt allow it) and we're looking to start looking at houses in a few years. I hope to been in a school by the fall and babies maybe in 2 years?
Thanks for playing along
Getting fit for IVF!
I'm always late to the party!
My name is Danielle, DH is Scott and we live in MA. I'm 26, DH is 31. We were married 10/9/10 and have been together for almost 6 years. We met at work while we were both dating other people and instantly became friends. We started dating after break ups a few months later. I am the oldest of 4, and the only girl. My parents are divorced and have each been married 3 times. I am the only girl. It's awesome. I have a shopping addiction. It's not too bad but it exists. We have 1 cat named Jasper who we are minorly obsessed with, but he has been a PIA lately at night while we are trying to sleep so I am also sleep deprived. I have always had more guy friends then girl friends but I really love me some girl time. I have 2 close female friends, but it's ok because I love them dearly. I also vicariously live through all of you.
I'm Erica, my husband is Alan. I'm 35 (36 in June), and he'll be 34 next week. We met online at Match.com in October 2006. Our wedding was exactly 4 years to the day from the first day he emailed me. (Not on purpose - we were actually hoping for a Sept. date, but this was the first available. We realized the coincidence long after we booked the date.) We live just outside of Boston - he's from southern NH, and I grew up in western MA, and we both went to college in the Boston area. We keep trying to think of somewhere less expensive to live, but we really love it here.
I direct professional development programs at a graduate school, and he works in finance. (Something to do with reporting, but I can't really explain it.) No kids, but we are getting a dog this weekend. I plan to spoil the bejeebus out of him, heh. We like good wine, good food, and bad tv. (Good tv, too. But we have weakness for the "...of Love" franchise and anything at all featuring Flavor Flav.)
Yep...I just couldn't hide who I am any more.
Seriously, though...I'm Erin. DH is Ron. I'm 37, he's 58...if you have a problem with that, tell someone else, because we really don't care. I own and operate a candle company that sells primarily through Etsy. Anyone who wants the link can have it, but I don't want to put it here for fear of looking like I'm advertising. DH also owns his own business. He's a computer and business software consultant for a whole lot of businesses here in Kansas City.
Together, we have 8 kids: I have 3 biological children, he has 4, and we have 1 foster daughter. (I feel like I say this a lot...seriously, I'm not trying to brag!) We also have 3 grandchildren (all from his kids...mine are still too young!): Alex, Max and Ava. We also have a whole lot of animals: 3 cats (Jasper, Jethro and Miley), a dog (Riley), 2 rats (Molly and Emma), and a fish (Truman).
Obviously, free time is a premium commodity around here, but when I get it, I love to read...I'm a slave to my Nook...I'm an avid cyclist (yes, bicycles, and no, not while I'm reading!), and I love music, both listening and performing. I sing and DH plays guitar. I'm also always crafting something of some sort, usually from stuff that used to be something else. Right now, I'm working on making a Nook cover from a pair of my favorite pajama pants that has seen better days.
I'm a total smart-aleck, but I'm really not a b!tch unless someone gives me a reason to be one. I will strongly defend those things in which I believe, but I'm not inflexible in my point of view. I believe in treating others as you expect to be treated yourself, and I'll talk the ears off of almost anyone.
So, that's all you need to know about Erin, the Cliff's Notes version...any other questions, just ask.
