IT'S FRIDAY!!!
So happy!
I'm determined to stay in a good mood all day long!
Last night we had some amazingly yummy spaghetti w/ italian meatballs...followed by some ice cream. Tonight we're having pizza. Tomorrow we're going to the outlets, hopefully I can get me a coach purse on sale!!! Then we have to wash our dog and clip her nails, she stinks! I'm going to pick up some steaks at the farmers market to make for dinner tomorrow...maybe some potatoes too. Then we're going to see a movie, Hall Pass. I already bought the tickets w/ that coupon code thing from the other day. I'm so excited that Don and I will have an entire day together!!!

We have no plans this weekend. We borrowed a movie from one of our friends (Idiocrary) so we will probably watch that at some point.
I was woken up by an email at 6:12 am saying there was an error in the eblast I sent out (prompted instead of promoted). Good times! Nothing I can do about it now, but coming on the heels of the typo in the year end letter that was NOT my fault, I am upset. I hate being the writer AND the editor and the producer of everything. I hate screwing up. I am buying a lottery ticket today.
Needless to say, I'm really glad it's Friday.
Last night I came home, changed, moved stuff out of our room, laid out today's clothes, packed my gym bag, talked to Laura, and painted our bedroom besides the back wall where the TV and closet are. All the furniture is pushed up against there. LOL I was sweating up a flipping storm. I'm loving the nice calm blue paint, just need to finish that last small butthole wall. I want a new duvet too, but that can wait until the fall. It is time for me to get a new summer quilt I think. Mine has seen better days. I will be hunting around Marshall's and the like in the upcoming months.
After the painting was done I had some bagel bites, packed my lunch, and watched Southland and Criminal Minds: Weird Version.
I went upstairs at 11 but got almost no sleep, because my dogs were unsettled since we were sleeping in the guest room. I was also thirsty, kept waking up, and kept hearing noises. BlaHhhhh
I can't wait until this day is OVER.
Weekend plans: jewelry demo tonight, finish painting room and do thorough clean tomorrow, lunch with my ladies at my favorite Mexican place, and other general hausfrauing and cleaning.
The trailer for this was on the other night and K says, "You know, I'm really okay knowing that I will never get a hall pass." Um, good thinking, buddy!
Happy it's friday, but very bummed. Fat Boy hasn't been feeling good for a couple of days - very lethargic and not eating - and I made a vet appt for this afternoon. Before bed it sounded like he was having trouble breathing, so I snuggled him for a bit while I cleaned out his eyes & nose. When I put him down I had blood on my shirt - turns out he was bleeding from his #1 hole - is it called a penis on a cat? - anyway, it stopped bleeding, but then overnight he peed himself and the rug he was laying on in the bathroom - and he NEVER goes outside the litter box. He hates car rides, so I'm going to feel even worse doing that to him when he's miserable.

last night was like my morning for stephanie--work related problems that were my mistake. i felt awful, cried, did what i could to fix the problem, and tried to go to bed, but got no sleep.
today is weigh in day with double dub. i have been doing a really good job, but AF is here, so im nervous it will make it look like i didn't lose an lbs.
friday night is date night, so we are going out to get dinner and drinks. then home to bed, cleaning, shopping, gym tomorrow, baby shower on sunday. really exciting life.

I have no plans for the weekend other than college homework. I need a few days to just relax and get away from the stress/issues at work.
I got my grades from last week back from my accounting teacher and I had a 0 on the discussion board exercise. I know I uploaded it but the website had issues. I'm really hoping that even though the teacher doesn't allow make up work she will accept it because the website issues really aren't my fault and she didn't request any other ways to submit the info.
Susie - good luck with Fat Boy. It sounds like a UTI. Hopefully they can treat him and he'll be okay.

I'm SOOOO glad it's friday! Tonight we are filling in on a couples bowling league with one of hubby's co-workers. Should be fun.
Tomorrow I plan on sleeping in as last as i can. (which usually means 8:30 at the latest). I'm just exhausted lately!
Tomorrow night meeting some girls out for a little bit. Need to unwind and have some fun!

His name is actually Brutz - it's PA Dutch and means 'whiner' because he really is. But DH and I call him Tubby or Fat Boy a lot b/c he weighs over 20 lbs. He was a stray and super skinny - and then he just ate everything in sight and ballooned. His belly swings when he walks.

our cat is 14Ibs, but she's not wide...her belly just hangs down so she looks fatter than she really is. she's a cuddler, but when you go to move her and she doesn't want to she pushes all her weight down like a little kid.
The worst part about Fridays is that I spend the first half of the day groggy from accumulated lack of sleep. But I'm so glad it's here!
DH finally called someone to inspect/clean/cap the chimney. Once we see how much it's going to cost, we can seriously discuss when I can quit work! I can't wait to start working on my wedding video so I'll have something new to add to my reel. I have a feeling I'm going to join the wedding industry. Not sure how I feel about that.
Aside from the chimney, we've got a poker game tomorrow night - with a friend coming in from Cali to visit. First time most of us will get to see her baby. I'm hoping it will stave off the baby wishing, but realistically? Probably not going to help.
On a side note, I thought I'd share this totally geeky revelation with you all. I've recently become obsessed with the show NCIS. More so after I found out one of the actors (that I'm in love with) played a minor role in a movie I loved (and still love) as a kid. And I used to have a crush on him then! Amazing coincidence! DH isn't a huge fan of the show, so I have to watch it when he's not around.
My cat is 15 lbs. She's quite the little chubby one. I got her from a rescue and she was this scrawny thing with her ribs poking out and ears so big she looked like a rat. She has this fat pouch near her back legs (the vet said it was from her being spayed too young) and it wiggles quite a bit when she walks. She gave up on running a few years ago.
I totally need to invent a treadmill for cats.

TGIF!! I'm so glad it's Friday. I think we're going to my parents house this weekend. I'm having withdrawals from my nephew and need my baby fix lol
We found out last night Jeremy's brother and his FI made beach plans without us (We had verbally agreed to all go in April). They made it for the end of March and I can't take that Friday off work plus it'd be at least an 8 hour drive. I was just annoyed they didn't let us know. (I know I sound like a whiney baby but they do this crap all the time and I'm tired of trying.)

Our kitten is only 5 months and I swear he is going to be close to 20lbs by the time he's fully developed at one year. If they sold a hampster wheel for cats, I'd totally be on that.
J & I saw Hall Pass on a whim last weekend and loved it.. although for those of you who have seen it, did you notice how orange Jenna Fischer was mid-movie? Like I'm talking worst spray tan ever. She looked like she was in desparate need of a bath.. a cast member for Jersey Shore.
I've never been happier for a Friday. Work has been insane, and I just want a day to do absolutely nothing. We have no big plans this weekend except our friend's sons' 1st birthday party (what up, babyrabies), and then visiting my Pop-Pop and movies/icecream with my 10 y/o cousin on Sunday.
When did my life get so uneventful, bland and wonderful all at the same time? Oh wait, that's right - September 25, 2010.
I'm hoping to book our November Punta Cana vacay this weekend, but I just feel so apprehensive about booking it - this is what I do. I obsess about things we DO have the money for and then when it comes down to committing I think about all of the 3928473 things we could do with the money.. like save it.
I'm also currently resisting the urge to buy a Garmin.

Morning all. So glad it's Friday. Not so glad that I have a dental appointment this morning. Not doing much today, but I must wash our comforter since I spilled clear nail polish on it last night, good one Debbie.
Tomorrow I want to go watch Take Me Home Tonight. It looks hilarious and Richard and I
the 80's. We might go out for a drink after. I tried using the LS fandango code thing to purchase these tickets but couldn't. I'm thinking perhaps because it's just releasing this week. We may just use it next week to watch a movie while in Tahoe, or the following week when we're home. We'll see.
Susieq- so sorry to hear about Brutz. The stray cat, Rich named him Fritz, is a faaaat boy. I wanted to take a picture of him last night but didn't have my camera. He's so cute and loveable. I'm a sucker for stray cats.

Aw Susie, thoughts and vibes to fat cat. I'm beside myself anytime something happens to Kaycee or Petey. Kaycee's a dainty little lady, only 8lbs and crazy athletic. I don't think cats are supposed to run around as much as she does, but she cuts herself on random things (like blinds) and runs into walls a lot.
This is RPI's first weekend of playoffs. Luckily we have home ice, so no traveling. I hope we beat Colgate in two games so I can have Sunday to do nothing.
I'm really exhausted. I'll probably spend most of my weekend sleeping.

Yay for Friday! I'm working from "home aka inlaws house" today, so that means pajamas until I change clothes to go for a run (which will probably be in the afternoon). I truly love my in-laws but am so happy that James and I will more than likely have our keys to our own home a week from today as I just sent off the last piece of paper that my loan officer needed to get the loan fully funded...booyah.
Other than that, I get to go meet this cute dog tomorrow and hopefully take her home with me in April (after she's spayed) and then other than that, window shopping for a fridge.

Last night I made Ellie's monkey cake and some awesome bright green cupcakes for her party on saturday! Im kinda sad that she's 3 but I love her little attitude!
I caved and took her to the pet store and let her pick out her very first pet. We now have a nameless hampster since she doesn't like naming things.
Im sooo ready for spring to be here, we got some more snow last night, Im slowly getting depressed.
Tonight is gym, 4 loads of laundry, scrubbing my kitchen from top to bottom, vaccuming, bathroom cleaning and some babymaking hubby time.
He's hiding under the bed here, but you can still see his 'spread' towards his hind quarters.

hello y'all! Yesterday at work everything went wrong that could possibly go wrong, and I had only gotten 3 hours of sleep because Jeff and I had a fight which was followed by a 2-hour breakdown on my part where I just blubbered about all my stress and how dumb I feel and how sorry I am for taking it out on him. It was cathartic, and I actually felt a lot better, but the severe lack of sleep made my Thursday suck. Last night I gave a practice talk for my qualifiers and I think it went pretty well but it was exhausting and we didn't get home until pretty late.
I decided that I'm not going to work today because my exam is Monday and I do NOT need another crazy stressful work day and I really, really needed to sleep in. Today the plan is to polish off the presentation, study a bit, and relax. Same goes for the rest of the weekend - it will all be over Monday. Our power keeps going off for a split second at a time and I'm super annoyed by it. I have ANTM on in the background, it's entertaining.

Sorry to hear about the cats issues. I don't particularly care for cats - ours is driving me insano right now, but I'd completely fall apart if I think there is anything wrong with my dog. I can empathize.
I just got a call saying that they are delivering my range rover at 3 today. I named her Romilda. Ofcourse I have a hair appointment at 3pm. Perfect. I am in dire need of a cut and if I let this lot go I probably won't be able to get this guy for another 2 weeks. I have nothing going on before 3 and nothing after 5. Both things just HAD to coincide at the same time. lol what a wonderful dilemma to have. Go get hair done or go pick up fun new toy...hmmm

JEALOUS! I need a hair cut AND I desperately want a new car. My corolla is SH!T in the snow (H insists its my tires) and it doesn't even have power locks/windows. My tailor has a Q5 and when I went to pick up my pants last weekend, I sat in the parking lot and stared at it for five minutes. WHY NOT ME!?!?!? Sooooooo pretty.
