Anyone want to help me with hair color? I'm getting my hair done next Wednesday, and I want to do some color to lighten/freshen it up. It's been a long time since I've colored it, so it's grown out a lot.

I ordered some books on Amazon the other day that I am excited about. I also just ordered some baby gifts for my ex-sister in law - we are still close.
Tonight Mike is taking us out to dinner at the big Chinese restaurant near the mall and tomorrow he is taking me to see the new Adam Sandler movie.

Doc explained it to me like this: I have fluid in my inner ear that can't escape because my ear is swollen from my cold. The fluid got infected and now it sitting in there festering.
He put me on a fairly high does of antibiotics. Come on 5:00! I want to pick it up and start it.
I am *so* glad I went today rather than trying to get through it this weekend. Doc said it was on the cusp of infecting/bursting the eardrum.

I had something similar to that, and I was supposed to babysit the next day - right around the 24 hour mark. My Dr. gave me a shot of antibiotics to make sure i wouldnt' get the little one sick.
Eek, no wonder you're so miserable! Hopefully the antibiotic clears it up super fast.

Ugh, on the man sick. Just picture if those wimps had to get pregnant.
D&M, so glad you went to the doc. I saw in your other post that you went. I was going to comment that if you have decent insurance, there is no reason to ever put off seeing a doc for that kind of thing. 1.) There's no sense in suffering when you don't have to and can get meds to make you feel better. 2.) It's not always a good idea to let infections of that nature go, since they can get worse. Now if you were a repeat offender on the ear infections (as little kids tend to be), I'd say if you can tough it out, to do so.
Kasa - I like the Jessica Alba color you posted. I also liked your hair from last spring. I'll see if I can dig up a color for you before my lunch is over. I often wish I had blonde hair, b/c I feel like there are so many options for color!
I agree with you. I think my problem is I hate having to leave work for appointments. Same goes for calling in sick. I feel like I am a less reliable employee when I have to leave.
But I am *so* glad I went. Hopefully I will remember that next time I'm sick.

Did he stay home today?
I wanted to stay home this morning. I hate calling in, but I really wanted to. I asked H if I should stay home.
He said "No, I think you should work. But I can't feel what you are feeling, so it's not up to me to decide."
"If you had this ear infection, you'd totally stay home. Manbaby."
Yeah, he did stay home. Honestly, I don't think he was sick enough to stay home, but again, I can't feel what he's feeling.
He did, however, spend most of the morning working from home because there were some things that he had to get done.
