She seems to be fine. The vet thinks it's allergy related, but it's hard to tell what they're really allergic. She suggested switching to a metal bowl (which we went to get) and changing her food/treats to fish based (meaning not chicken, beef, etc.). It's really hard to find treats that are that (it may say Salmon on the packet, but it's really chicken with salmon flavoring...who knew!).
So anyway, I have to watch her for two weeks and if it's not better get some ointment.
The cool part at the vet was that she kind of squeezed the cat's lip and pushed a "slide" up against it to get some cells and then showed me what it looked like in the microscope. I have no idea what I was looking at, but it was interesting. I've never had a vet give such a deep explanation.
