its thursday. one long day today and one long day tomorrow! almost done!
its snowy here but supposed to switch to rain...we have flood warnings for all of the rivers. nothing too nerve racking, i don't think.
went out to mr. g's birthday dinner and i STILL feel horrible. went 10 points over my daily and i already feel like weigh in tomorrow is going to suck. oh well, cant change the past.
any fun plans for the weekend? tomorrow i am supposed to drive up for a friends party about an hour and 30 minutes away. do a sleepover. then drive back the hour and thirty minutes on saturday to turn around and drive 2 hours in the opposite direction to go wedding dress shopping with my friend. i am already tired!

We were supposed to go to a comedy club Sat night and go to the outlets, but w/ Don's ankle none of that's going to happen. So it'll be a quiet weekend at home, which will be nice too.
How is it not the weekend yet?! Ugh
Last night I finished my ribbon wreath but pretty sure I won't be making another one. Way too time consuming but I did have to redo it once so that might be why. It's really cute and Jeremy even likes it so yay! However, in the process of searching for my wreath hanger stored in a christmas box, I didn't see an ax and it (not the sharp end) fell on my foot. My foot in REALLY sore today.
Tomorrow I'm meeting my sister to get my nieces (4 &5) to spend the weekend with me and Jeremy. Love those girls to pieces. We'll probably make it a beach day Saturday since neither one of us have a fishing license anymore. Plus the girls would probably get too bored if they weren't catching fish.
I hate rain. It's okay if I can stay home in PJs, but not when I have to go out in it. And in North NJ where I work they're expecting something like 3 1/2 inches - hellooooo, flooding!
Cleaned up old mail and then made yummy porkchops for dinner last night and indulged in some chocolate PB cup ice cream - so good. Otherwise a pretty unproductive night.
Thinking about heading to Ulta tonight - Our wedding photog is coming up on Sunday to do bump pics. I usually wear Bare Minerals makeup, but I hate the way it comes out in photos, so I'm thinking I need to splurge and get some 'real' makeup so I actually want to hang these pictures when we get them back. Also going to my niece's spring concert @ 7 (woohoo?)
Can't wait til Saturday when my BFF comes up for the afternoon.

It is super rainy here. My front yard already started to flood even before I left the house this morning. Pierce looked at me like I was crazy this mornign for wanting him to go outside and pee.
On Saturday night we have my preschools annual Social and silent auction. Free food and beer.
I'm getting my hair done tonight I am so excited! It's been a couple months since I have had it done. I can't wait!!! I aways say I want to do something different with my hair but I never do. Really I want a new style but I don't really like to mess with my hair in the morning. I am such a shower and go kinda girl in the AM
Today and probably the next ?? days are going to be hell. The republican Senate voted last night and squashed collective bargainining rights. Basically, our senate dems are still in Illinois, but the republicans pulled collective bargaining out of the repair bill and said that it doesn't have to do with the budget so therefore they can vote on it. so they did and it passed. Therefore, it shows that our governor was out to bust unions to begin with. If getting rid of collective bargain had anything to do with balancing the budget, then they wouldn't have been able to vote on it without the democrats there.
Therefore, I'm spending the day prepping for major strikes, etc. and we're trying to figure out how we can keep the campus running without the people who are do the heating, electrical, grounds work, teaching, etc.
it's gonna be fun.

Morning all. Hate that it's Thursday, not Friday. Rolled out of bed at 6, right when I'm supposed to leave. Been having a hard time getting up all week due to sucky drama at work. So tired of it.
Tried to make my potato-less soup for dinner, major fail. The turkey bacon was disgusting, I ran out of pepper and the blender didn't properly mash the cauliflower. Blech...Really wanted to order a pizza, but I choked down the soup and was a good girl. Didn't exercise at all, so stressed from work drama.
Nothing fun planned this weekend, sad. The last two weekends were crazy busy, so it'll be good to just chill, but I feel I have nothing to look forward to. Just overall blah right now.
Molly did the samething this morning...I had to drag her outside so she'd go pee. It's going to be big fight tonight to get her to go outside and do a walk around the building so she can go #2. She hates water...she'll walk around a puddle even!
Our animals are such prima donnas. I opened the door and Tanner just looked at me - she went out without much fuss, but didn't spend any time checking out the yard - just squatted & ran for the door again. Depending on how hard it's raining, she'll stay tight against the house so she can be under the roof overhang & not get wet. Cracks me up.
I have to complete a log so my boss knows what I spent my time on - yesterday's was at least twice as long as normal. I started typing it up early, then looked at the clock and realized I still had over 2 hours of work! We're under very tight deadlines, but a lot of stuff takes real-time to output so it's a lot of "hurry up and wait." I just know today is not going to be fun.
I'm looking forward to the weekend, just because it's time away from work. We're going to a cousin's house for her son's 3rd birthday. She just found out she's going to be having a girl in July. And her mother is a very close friend of MIL, and super nosy, so there will be several "when are you going to make MIL a grandma? she wants a grandkid so much" discussions. And I have to go for more tests.

This weather sucks it! I wanted to stay in bed. Badly.
Last night I worked late, then had a Relay For Life Committee meeting. I have so much to do on that front it isn't even funny. I got home around 8, talked to Laura for a while, packed lunch and gym bag, then MFD got home and we watched some TV. I went up to bed at 11. zzzzzzzzz
I hope it is not pouring like a mutha when I have to leave for my sculpting class.

Haha, Petey just runs outside like a bat out of hell. Then realizes like 10 seconds later that something is different. He then looks up at the sky and starts flinching and whining and I have to tell him to pee like 50 times before he does. He often gets distracted, too, so he'll chase a squirrel and then repeat the flinching/whining.

I also cannot believe it is not the weekend yet. Last night I went to my nephew's basketball game and they won so they play again on Friday. The nephew played soo great! This weekend is our big ice show. The next four days are dedicated to pulling that off and some how organizing the mass of kids so it goes smoothly.
Yesterday DH and I decided we were going to make maple syrup since it is starting to warm up here. We went out yesterday and tapped 3 trees and will probably do a couple more today depending on how well the sap is running.
This makes me want jellybeans and to color eggs. :-)
I'm a complete money waster when it comes to jellybeans. I only like the purple, pink, and white ones. So I usually only eat about 10 out of a bag. :-)
I eat the orange, red and yellow first, they are my favorite then the purple, pink, green and white. I never eat the black.

It's a good day here :-) My kitchen sink is getting fixed, it's already 40 degrees and I get my hairs done tonight! It's been before Christmas and I look gross.
Tomorrow I get a short day so we can head to H's hometown! I love it there and wish I could never ever leave.
Sorry everybody else is having a not so great day....

This is me as well..
Am I the only one where its not raining here. My dad came over last night and had dinner with me, just me and him, we never get to do that anymore so that was nice! Then today I have no plans just to do maybe one load on laundry and then I'm making BLT's for dinner, with no T's for me. I think I am taking tomorrow off work. I have that bridal shower I have been planning on Sunday and I want to make sure I have everything ready to go for that. And my mom called me last night and wants me to help her do some stuff around her house.
Saturday is going to be insane for me, I have to go pick up the cookies for the favors, go pick up her cake from the patisserie, and go buy flowers. Then go home and cut the flowers and put them into small arrangements, and put the cookies into favor bags for 30 people. Then H want me to go fishing with him later that night. Then Sunday is the shower and we all know what that consist of.
