I bought clothes in different sizes on clearance throughout my pregnancy.  Back then it felt strange, but I am SO thankful I did.  My mom even bought a 12 month winter coat at the beginning of my pregnancy.  It was on super clearance and am so happy she did because he is currently wearing it!  People have always bought him huge sizes, but he can fit in 12 and 18 months already so it works lol :)
My nephew Sayre is like this too. He and Ellie are 5 days apart, yet while she's wearing 9-12 months or just 12 mos (why do some companies say "9-12" and some just say "9" or "12"? It's confusing.) Sayre is wearing 18 months clothes. As my older nephew would say, he and Weston are binga boys!

Lol. Yeah sizes are all over the place.  I usually have to just tell by sight if it will fit or not.  He is long, especially in the torso, so that is the main thing I look for.   It stinks because they don't sell a lot of onesies in his size because most kids wearing 12/18 months are walking and don't really need them, and obviously my 8 1/2 month old is not lol,
