Tuesday Confessions
i confess i'm contemplating skipping lunch and just having a protein bar, cuz i think i ate way too much last night for dinner.

I confess to getting a Kohl's card last night to save money on a bunch of clothes w/ a 30% discount, even though I swore I wouldn't get any more store cards. I rationalized that I'd be getting rid of the Lane Bryant card, so the total number would stay the same... I always pay everything off in full each month, so it's strictly just for discounts, but I still feel like crap about it.
I confess that this side-effect of pregnancy kind of freaks me out. My boobs are already gigantic, I don't see how they could get bigger!
I love my kohls card and all the coupons that come with it!!!! I also pay mine off immediately after we use it.
On a similar note, I confess that I am jealous of how well thought out a friend of ours engagement was. I am also jealous that her center diamond is .10 of a carat bigger than mine.

This is one of the side effects I always dreaded b/c I hated my boobs before and now I really hate them! H on the other hands loves them and really wants to play with them (total TMI, I realize) but they hurt like holy heck right now (and I'm still on pelvic rest, poor H)!!
I think this statement requires a PIP!
I too would like to see this ugly e-ring. I'm guessing yellow gold, pear shaped?
And LOL @ .10 of a carat bigger. That's the width of a piece of paper! It's so tiny you really can't even tell it's any bigger.

Wow.. what's so wrong with anyone's engagement ring as long as they are happy with it?

I want to see this ring or at least a description.
I admit I have seen a few rings that made me go I'm glad mine is a pretty classic style.
I also ate way to much for dinner yesterday. We had a friend over and I made a pork roast, mashed potatoes, carrots and green beans. All pretty healthy until he said I'll take you guys out for dessert.Enter huge slice of chocolate cake.
I guess I can say at least we walked to get dessert.
I confess I am also going to try the 30 day shred dvd I've heard so much about. I'm kind of nervous it will be a total fail for me. I ran for the first time in a while on Sunday and it wasn't my best run. I was doing so good before I went on vacation.
just because someone likes something doesn't make it not ugly. not saying your set is ugly...but i've seen some ugly ones.

I read anything. I run the gambit of Sookie Stackhouse to Historical Fiction. I caved and bought a Coco Chanel book. I just couldn't take what I bought it was written so bad.
I like series books because I read very fast. But if you've got any suggestions I'll take them.
i loved shiver by maggie stiefvater, and the follow-up linger...the 3rd part comes out this summer.

if you like science and learning things, the immortal life of henrietta lacks was super interesting
i like most everything wally lamb writes, but the hour i first believed was my favorite so far.
i am OBSESSED with jasper fforde's thursday next series...the 6th installment came out last week, i bought the first on a whim to read on spring break senior year...ADORED it, and found the other 3 that were already out. since then 2 more have come out.

I actually met Wally Lamb in college during a lecture. It was pretty interesting.
Just found out this weekend will be our last weekend alone due to family/friends are coming to visit the next 4 weekends. Somewhat irritated that some people are just using us for a free night stay on their way to Florida. I'm thinking about saying something suddenly came up and they can't stay. AF is coming - watch out people!!
