YIKES!!! This is one perk of having my mom work at an eyeglass place. We just found out she gets 50%off this week At Sunglass Hut so DH is getting the expensive Oakley's he wants. I may splurge too on a new pair even though I just got Coach ones last spring from my mom.
If you knew what things really cost you'd throw up about how marked up they are. i.e. My coach glasses were 75$ wholesale and about 4x that in store.
dh is wearing the same glasses about 10 years - just for driving and if he sits in a theater to see better. he got his money's worth on them! his prescription finally changed a bit, so he's taking advantage of upgrading the style, and i think he might only replace the sunglass lenses since the frames are fairly new and he likes them.
i'm due for 2 new ones - both are about 5 years old.
it's still a lot of money, but i am super thankful we don't do it often!

When I went to China II brought home glasses for my mom , sis and I to have funky ones that no one else could have, she just did the lenses. American they cost me 15$ total!
Because of her I get a new pair about every 2 years, and I still barely wear them, just my sunglasses get tons of use. Speaking of this I get a new pair come May gotta start looking:)
Hoping in the near future our house in NC sells and we can buy a new house up here. Otherwise, we may be headed back down because I cant live where we are anymore.
We need a new bed. We are still sleeping in a full and with our puggle and sometimes having LB in the bed, it is getting entirely too tight!
I also want an iPhone and when we do move, new bedroom set and family room set : )

Bathroom Redo!! I cant wait. We are getting new windows too, then we can FINALLY finish our family room. We started this "project" last May. So its been one year. This needs to be finished soon!
