omg - me too! ordered a few things in 2 sizes for both me and the baby. at least i know dh's and ava's sizes and those were 1 orders. but, i ordered from both gap and on, and then went shopping at gap too since the selection was different.
We might be related, lol. I went to the stores, too, since the selection was different and dropped another $100 at ON. If I had kids to shop for, my bill would have been out.of.control!

my confession is not really a confession but there's a what's cooking nestie that's pretty popular and seems to really know a lot, but every single one of her recipes that i've tried has bombed. like they're terrible. and i always wind up needing to buy so many ingredients for them and i feel totally wasteful.
i try really hard to ignore her posts so i don't get sucked in any more.
come on... who is it? Doctorannie?? Stephanie Cooks? Joelene?? SPEAK WOMAN SPEAK!
yes - one of those 3.
the other 2 have had super recipes for me!
i will not bash on the boards. check your pm
back to you. It's not bashing though... there are so many food blogs over there that you're not going to like everyone...
I am exhausted from being up with my sick kid all night but here I am at work. I knew working for family would have its disadvantages. I feel way too responsible for what happens here. Meanwhile, my coworker stayed home once because she was hungover. I could never do that.
I have a meeting with Mini's principal tomorrow night. She wants to discuss the evaluations they've done on my "exceptional" child. As usual, I am a nervous wreck. Meanwhile, this is all good stuff.
It's looking llike we'll "have" to pay for a new pool out-of-pocket. Thanks to my mom shaming me, I feel like a spoiled brat every time I tell someone that we "need" a new pool. I feel like a bigger brat whenever I feel like we "need" one that is larger than the one we already have.
i'm due for new purses. my newest is 3 years old! we should shop together
1. you wouldn't do that even if your boss was unrelated. that's work ethics, not family matters.
2. wow - an exceptional kid?! that's pretty awesome.
3. yes, a pool is a necessity when you are an entertainer. that's life.
1- This is true. If I can do my job I will. The kid is home with her dad so it's fine.
2- Yes. Thanks. Unfortunately, our district does not have a gifted program so they are trying to figure out what to do with her. Scary stuff.
3- YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!
Spanks!!
XoXo
Agreed!
Agreed (AGAIN!)
Margie, that's amazing about Mini, she's a smart cookie.
Confession, well this isn't a confession it's more of a vent. SIL had a bad day yesterday and got into an argument with her BF (umm HI that happens), the boys didn't have school and they were being beastly, and she stubbed her toe. Awee don't you feel bad for her? Poor baby she had a rough day, what can we do to make it better? Baby her? Buy her things? Aweee. EFF THAT SH!T! I'm sorry, get a freakin' grip lady, sh!t happens, suck it up . Today she calls while I'm in the car with MIL and FIL on the way to work (they've got the Bluetooth in the car so I obviously hear the convo) and she's all whiny because her poor toe hurts and she doesn't think she can walk 1000ft down the street to bring A to the bus stop or walk to the end of the block to bring E to school either. Can one of us help her? WHAT? Are you serious? Umm hi no, we work. Kthanks.
/end
But seriously, I'm having a really fab day other than that, and the snow.
Oh boy..... lol
Glad you're having a a fab day otherwise

Thank you! Her teacher this year is amazing. She really challenges and brings out the best in my girl. Up until this fall, Mrs K was a second grade teacher so I feel like the planets aligned properly for us because she knows how to handle her. This trimester, DD has met with every teacher in the building so they are already trying to find a good fit for her when she goes into first grade in the fall. Sigh.
Ahem. Why am I not invited??? I admitted that I spent sh*tloads of money at the Gap Give and Get thing all weekend. Helloooo! I clearly have a shopping problem that you should help me keep going.
