Re: Hump Day Randoms
No you havent. LOL. I am bored as heck
I have lots of days like that. Kinda sucks being the bread winner and insurance carrier, since it's not even an option.
I have a little boy - he is almost 14 months!
Haha! This was me - Couscous with meatballs. I am painfully full now. I skipped the gym this morning because of the roads - seriously, it had NOTHING to do with my laziness
At least I should still be at my strength training class tonight. All hope is not lost.
I want to make curtains for my kitchen. I wanted somethign different that would go with most paint colors, since I havent' decided what color to paint the room. I found some white fabric with different colors of frosted cupcakes all over it. It's super cute but I went against it, because I thought that it would make me want to eat cupcakes when I went into the room.
Yay. Welcome back everyone.
I worked through my lunch today since I was so late coming in. It was lonely here...haha.
I've been really stressed/sad the last few days, so I drank - a lot, and took some Xanax. I got scared so I went to the ER - thinking they would pump my stomach. I passed out, but I'm assuming they gave me a banana bag because I have no hangover - at all.
I find it ironic - i was highly suicidal, but my friend told them it was stress - so they didnt make me talk to the social worker.
2 years ago I went due to an anxiety attack - total stress, and they put me on a 2 day psych hold.
Oh wow. I'm glad you're ok. T&P to you.
Ditto to this. Thinking of you and hoping you can find some peace.
I'm in therapy - I tried going off my meds, which I think made me less reslillant to some issues.
I'm going back on my meds tonight and I have an appointment with my therapist tonight as well.
My therapist's day job is seeing people on holds at the ER, so I'm kind of glad to - I was afraid to go, because I didn't want to get stuck in the state hospital (I don't have insurance right now).
I'm somewhat glad they let me go when they did. My regular Dr. does rounds at that hopsital, and I'd hate to have to see him in that state.
You say soda, not pop? Are you from Michigan? XN and I have this argument all the time (him not being from the midwest).
Scary! Do you have someone to talk to now?
Hmm...I never really thought of it. I say both I guess. Maybe because I drink soda water sometimes, it comes out as soda for everthing else? And yes, I'm from Michigan.
Am glad you are ok. Thoughts and prayers are with you, laurainMI.
My thoughts are with you Laura! I wish you clarity and strength as you go through these tough times. Be sure to surround yourself with those that care about you.
Hang in there. Mental health sucks at times. Join the club. Be very careful of that xanax though. My 22 year old cousin died of a drug overdose of that 2 weeks before our wedding.
Ugh, H said he saw this accident yesterday coming home from work.
WTH do they snark about? That is such BS. Ugh, stupid Nesties. I used to love that board (when I had money to travel...haha).
About people asking "dumb" and often repeated questions. As if it the questioner's fault that the search function doesn't work.
Oh boy. I'm sorry to hear that. I always was so impressed with how helpful and polite those ladies were. I loved that board as a resource for trip planning.
Yeah, me too. I'm hoping it's just a phase and will go back to "normal" soon. I think some ML people infiltrated and began causing the issues.
I have noticed that historically, the location that you post about dictates the level of snarkiness in replies. Europe posts seem to generate more snobby responses (IMO), than, for instance, a post about Chicago.
They were really helpful, though, when I posted about Savannah last month.
Shocking.
