Re: Things you Love Thursday
Oh yes you do!
There are a lot of kids' lunch pins. Basically just making the food look really fun for them to eat. I have made lunch skewers for them, cut hearts out of cheese and bread with cookie cutters, made a peanut butter and apple sandwich, and banana nests for them. It is so fun! They love it. Here is my latest find:
Anyone can join!! It is actually just me and mike - sometimes my brother and his girlfriend. We just love walking and then stopping for a drink, then a bite to eat, we browse through a shop, then another drink and then so on. It is a fun way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Or a random weekday day off.
If you are interested, let me know! We could hit Olives
Also, Lolcats.
That sounds fun! Esp. Olives! I will let you know!
Love! Ahahaha.
So do I need an invite to join? Can you send me one?
Just did!
That's a good question. I suppose elephants are the decor focus of the room right now. I have my crib bedding, but it's not elephant related (swirls and stripes). I was thinking of doing 2 larger framed elephant prints, and a medium sized elephant wall decal. The room is pretty small, so I want to keep it simple and avoid a cluttered feel.
That sounds really cute! J's comfort object is this elephant:

I wish that I loved running!!!
I love that I can sew.
I love that I went a little creative with the paint in my bedroom.
I love that life/God gave me a two month break between my job and when school starts, I can really enjoy life right now.
You can make it work. Maybe do a light gray or some light neutral color for the paint in the room? Maybe find a mobile that has elephants or something on what? Have some books in there like some jungle books, Where the wild things, are, etc.
Sugar. Almost every form of it. Fruit, candy, ice cream, cake.
Beer. Which technically is converted sugars.
Baseball. I'm so excited for it the Tigers to start.
Babies. I'm surrounded by them these days it seems, and I want to snuggle them all.
Dogs. I'm pretty sure you all know this. It doesn't even have to be my own. If I just look at a dog I'm instantly happier than I was before.
Planning trips. We just planned our Itinerary for the Grand Tetons last night. Next step is planning for New Zealand, we've only scratched the surface and I can't wait to research more.
New foods. We made a gogonzola and pear "pizza" last night and it was delicious. I didn't have pizza crust, so we just used homemade sourdough as the base for our mini-pizzas.
Good deals. I'm loving the *** out of Groupon and other sites. We just scored a deal on a restaurant for when we go to New Orleans.
Can I get one as well?
Sure! But, I don't think I have your email address. You can send it to Closertotheheartphoto@gmail.com and I'll send you an invite. You'll love it!
I haven't been able to get enough of this album lately:
Nothing makes me laugh more than this show:
By husband is loving that album right now too.
My brother is a HUGE fan. I believe he saw them play in Boston this past year. I've caught a little of their stuff on XM and I like it.
Tosh is so funny. I don't care what people say! I love him!!!!!!
Andy introduced me to them some time after we started dating (2005?) and I liked them a lot. He only recently bought this CD though and I can't stop jammin' to it. I would love to see them live.
I still haven't heard people say anything bad about him, but I hang around people with really low standards.
Haha I'm talking about all the mean tweeters (<---? Is that proper? I'm not on Twitter
).
I was in the lunchroom the other day and overheard a 60-year-old female attorney say to those she was eating lunch with, "Do any of you watch Tosh.0?"
I had to do a double-take. It's amazing who all watches that show!?
We watch this show a lot too, but I have a hard time with all the vomit.
Do you watch Community?
No. I don't think I watch any sitcoms. Everything I "watch" is reality tv!
