Third Person Thursday
Stacey is OVER her sister's wedding. It is causing her to completely stress out because she is having to do everything. She's pisssed at her sister's future in-laws because, even though they have been engaged for OVER a year-and-a-half, they still do not have addresses to Stacey's sister of the people they would like to invite. Stacey is addressing the envelopes this weekend to send out because the wedding is June 11. If they don't give her the addresses by then, Stacey is calling the in-laws her self and telling them those people are no longer invited. The stress of this wedding and of TTC might send Stacey off the deep end.

Re: Third Person Thursday
Shelley's mouth hurts from going to the dentist this morning. So she rewarded herself with some Panera.
Shelley is really hoping her day goes smoothly today. Yesterday was really bad and she almost had an anxiety attack and walked out. Her day was made better by her DH coming home 2 days earlier than expected.
Shelley is really looking forward to having a weekend with her DH and no plans. Feels like forever since she has had a nice relaxing weekend with him.
Shelley can't wait for her OB appointment tomorrow. She is hoping she will be able to hear the heartbeat because the past couple days she hasn't had that pregnant feeling besides being tired and hungry. Shelley is not nervous something is wrong because she knows it is normal to feel like this.
Stacey has seriously wanted to say this the whole time but she realizes she and her sister are very different. She love her sister very much and knows that if she didn't help her out, the wedding would be a complete disaster and she loves her too much to let that happen.
Stacey hopes Shelley's appointment goes well tomorrow and that she's just losing all of the sucky symptoms and is headed towards the point in the pregnancy where she feels great!
Shelley is sure she's reaching that point and is welcoming it with open arms.
And Shelley would probably do the same thing with her sister's wedding and tough it out so it is not a disaster. Good luck.
Shaina is stressed. Shaina doesn't feel good and is waiting on her stupid HQ to get docs back that they've had for over 3 weeks. What's the point of a rush if you're not going to rush on your side.
Shaina has to paint her hall bath this weekend, but she has no motivation.
Wives Unscripted
Dana would like to let Stacey know that she had this same conversation with her ILs when it came to her wedding. In fact Andrew even told his parents that the invites were mailed out and it was too late. Dana then told MIL that she would have to call her family members and explain to them that she was too lazy to provide addresses prior to the invites mailing out and that is why they were not invited.
Dana is tired today since her dear son decided to wake up at 3am because he was hungry. Dana knows he is going through a growth spurt but I need my sleep.
Dana has decided that Shelley's lunch plan sounds like a winner and she will go to Panera as well.
Dana is excited that her and Andrew will be looking at new apartments to move into for a few months in her home town!

Teresa cannot wait until baby shower is over this weekend. She is exhausted from all the work she has been doing for it. Somehow she ended up with most of the "projects" (damn her for being good at that type of thing), and it has been quite time consumer. I think she and the grandma to be have done most of the planning with other peole helping out here and there(there are 8 hostesses total).
Teresa is so tired today, and still has a sore throat. But no other symptoms so she is pretty sure it is just allergies. Teresa needs to find a new Dr. so she can get her allergy meds back.
Teresa is happy it is sunny outside today, even though it is cold outside.

Summer is wondering when the changes are going to be announced at work.
Summer is procrastinating on writing two people back from FB messages they sent her. One is regarding helping plan a bridal shower and Summer doesn't want to help. The one she just planned was enough!
Whitney loves that she had a great day yesterday. Saw the baby, got her NT scan scheduled, good news about work, found an affordable place in Charleston to stay for a friends wedding. However, she is paying for it today. She got sick in the middle of the night. Now she feels drained and exhausted and her head feels fuzzy. It might be allergies for most of that though.
Whitney's NT scan is tomorrow and she is excited to see her little pumpkin again and praying that everything looks okay with it.

Brie was not ready for work after vacation in Vegas. Brie feels as though progress is being made, but there's still a lot on the to-do list. Brie almost had an emotional breakdown the other day from being so stressed with work and school. She got teary, and Drew reminded her that she's a badass and can totally do this. She sort of believes him.
Brie is contemplating calling one of the places sending her baby-related junk mail and finding out where/how they got her name. It's got to stop, it's just getting so annoying- especially when the hospital her doctor's affiliated with sends a letter with "Congratulations on the new addition to your family!" They have access to Brie's records, surely there could have been a cross check. Brie doesn't need reminders that she and Drew aren't starting their family yet and is uber-offended that it might be simply because she's 30 that she's getting some of these things. Brie has other things on her to do list that are higher priorities than baby-making right now. Grrrr.

Shaina thinks that there is something in the water b/c although she's not getting mail like Brie, every show that her and DH have watched on the DVR this week have to do with babies, having a family, not letting her eggs dry out, etc. Shaina is like "enough with all the messages!"

Em is having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day - and it's only 9:45.
Em's cousin (with whom she is very close) just found out that their foster son is being moved to a different family. They had been trying to adopt him and everyone (including Em) thought it was just a matter of the paperwork being completed. So, Josiah became Em's nephew. He's incredibly sweet. Em's cousin found out last night that the adoption won't go through because the family might still have a chance at getting him back. So, his new foster parents will pick him up tomorrow after school. Em is in shock. Em can't stop crying. Em doesn't know how she is going to tell Jordan. Em is at work so crying es no bueno for Em.
Em's work does an annual award to recognize someone who has made outstanding contributions to the campus community. Em is the collection point for the nominations and just received one for the dean who passed away. Em is still crying.
Rumor has it that everyone at Em's work will be taking a 10% paycut. That would be a difficult adjustment for Em & Scott. It would be doable with cuts but we would not be able to take on any additional expenses - including a baby. Our plan was a 2012 baby. Scott will turn 40 in late 2012. Em doesn't know how much longer they can push back having a baby. Furloughs may mean that Em & Scott do not get to have a baby. Em is crying harder.
Em went to school last night and for the first time didn't get it. Em is worried about her thesis. Em's not sure she can do it.
Em wants to go home but missed work on Tuesday because Jordan was sick. Em has a lot of work to do but can't focus.
Now it's 9:55. Sorry so long.

Dani wants to know if Whit is going to ask the NT scan tech to take a guess tomorrow? Dani isn't sure if Whit wants to know or if Whit plans to be team green.
Dani also has her monthly checkup tomorrow and hopes her doc will have a recommendation on something that can be done regarding her rib pain.
Dani can't wait to see Jess and Alicia and ZOEY on Saturday!!!
Courtney has run 2.29 miles in 25 mins the past 2 days and is ecstatic about it, even though it's about half what she used to do. When she started intervals in January she could barely do 2 mins straight and that was at a slower pace, even. Courtney wishes it would help her lose more weight, but it looks like a week to maintain. Courtney likes BFing, but thinks it's making weight loss harder!
Courtney has no extra days to pick up at work in May and is a little freaked about the finance part, but is really excited to have all those weeks open. Her normal hours are only every other weekend, but she usually picks up an extra night every week.
Thanks ladies. Em didn't mean to be such a downer but was caught up in the moment.
Em thinks Whit should ask for a guess.
Welcome to the dark side
Whit has no patience to be team green so she will finding out. However, she thinks it will be way too early to tell what her pumpkin is. For some odd reason, after all the difficulties getting pregnant she is not that concerned with finding out the gender any sooner than her OB recommends. If they tell me tomorrow awesome, if not, it is only 6 weeks to go before we would do it anyways.

Dani's tech took a guess and was right but Dani was also 12.5 weeks at the time. Dani suspects that some techs might refuse to guess that early but hers was willing.
Jessica doesn't want to go to Rochester this weekend to help her SIL move. Jessica means, she wants to go see family, etc, she just doesn't think that Kiley will be comfortable because there is nothing there for her to play with. No high chair for feeding, etc. Jessica will know it will work, but just thinks staying home would be better. Jessica is excited for all these Momma's and their baby appointments. Jessica is jealous that Dani and Alicia get to see Zoey this weekend oh and Jess too
Jessica really wishes Kiley would nap. Jessica just tried to put her down but Kiley isn't tired I guess, she just was babbling away and blowing raspberries, now Kiley is perfectly content playing in her exersaucer. Jessica will try in a little bit to get her to nap again.
Teresa is sorry Em is having a bad day. Teresa offers hugs go Em.

Laura is sad and happy at the same time that AF decided to show today. She was liking her high temps. When she temped this morning and it was low, she knew AF would show. Sure enough she saw her this afternoon after she went to the gym. Laura is happy that it was a "normal" cycle, but she is sad that her temps didn't stay up and that she is not pregnant.
