Re: Wedding dress...
HAH - thanks! Big M's face cracks me up. He doesn't really smile all that often and he just has the goofiest grin while holding up my dress. haha
I can't find any good pictures on this computer, but I loved my dress. It had this great lace-y overlay that I was obsessed with.
Also, I haven't had mine preserved. The only reason I'm keeping it is so Ellie can play dress up in it later on.
I don't have my pro pics on this computer, so here are some shots from friends.
What it looked like on the model:
What it looked like on me:
My dress was amazing. It has been preserved, but only because I left it in MO with my mom.

And because you can't see the color in these shots and it was one of the best parts- detailing (excuse the wrinkles- it rained all day and the dress was not ideal for that):
Stand up for something you believe in.
Here it is in all it's puffy glory.
Back detail:
This is the best I can find of the front detail at the moment:
I wish I had gone with my gut and gotten something more fitted and less....huge. I never wanted a puffy princess dress but I loved this one when I tried it on and really felt like a bride. However, I think if I had given some other dresses a shot and not just settled on this one I would have felt just as much like a bride and probably way more comfortable on my wedding day.
I loved my dress. It's still at the cleaner, covered in red and green frosting. Ugh.
The bustling (this whole process was hysterical, we had like 8 people involved in bustling it, plus one of the GM to get me wine and food while the girls worked on my dress)
Here you can see the embroidery on the bodice a bit better

I loved my dress!

Yes, this is a page out of my wedding album, but I love how it shows my train:
And my favorite, from my RTD shoot:
And Wamo, my dress was a b!tch to bustle too! I had a double French bustle and it took all five of my bridesmaids working on it for about 10 minutes.
oh no, really? I can see it ok. I'll repost.
reposting:
Here's mine.....
And yes...mine is still actually in a garbage bag from when I took it off before leaving immediately after the wedding for our honeymoon.
